A great, quaint, spot in Boerne serving delicious brick oven pizza. The antipasti board was also a satisfying appetizer that won’t ruin your appetite. Fresh toppings and herbs on the pizzas. Very friendly wait staff and employees. Excellent spot to grab some craft beer, pizza, and conversation. We will definitely return.

Checked out Z’s Wood Fire Pizza on a Saturday afternoon. We enjoyed the antipasta board and lobster bisque which was tasty. My boyfriend had the Italian Job sandwich which he really liked. The location is pet friendly and has a decorated outdoor seating area with heaters and a fire pit.
The service however was pretty slow even though it wasn’t busy. We had to ask for our drinks after being served and were given a different type of soup than what was ordered. Dampened an otherwise good experience.

Absolutely the best pizza! It’s a small local restaurant that serves the best pizza. The crust, sauces and toppings all are full of flavor. Its not fast food people so be patient as it’s totally worth it and made to order. It’s a great atmosphere with small rooms inside and lots of seating outside, live music and local artwork for sale on the walls. The staff is great as well and very friendly. My wife and I frequent Z’s at least once a week and are never disappointed. Katie, Amber, Rose and Paul are the best. If you are local or visiting please give them a try. We are fans for life.

Pizza was delicious with some of the best prosciutto and garlic toppings we’ve had in a long time. I’d give the pizza a 4.5 if I could because the wood fired crust was good but not the best and that is vital for a this type of restaurant. Still worth a go. We’d come back because it was so cute because there good was made quickly and delivered hot and hit the spot. I’d love to try one if the baby varieties of beer but I couldn’t due to being on a road trip and antibiotics.

Looks small on the outside but good space on the inside, wonderful music and overall atmosphere. Staff was very friendly and open to talk about surrounding areas to visit. The food was amazing, had a half Fungi with half Davinci, it puts other wood fired pizza places to shame. Definitely bringing my friend here soon for the live music they have on Fridays

Wonderful Pizza! I can’t believe I’ve never been here. Great service all around. We tried their House Margherita Pizza, and it was delicious. Our daughter ordered the five cheese, it’s a combination of Blue cheese with basil pesto, and other cheeses, it’s amazingly good, highly recommend. I ordered The Athena Pizza which had olives, basil, Italian peppers and fresh mozzarella. FIVE YUMMY FACES!!

Outdoor seating with music, indoor seating, small Bar inside, air conditioned patio in the back facing the outdoor area. Super cute inside, lovely staff. Really laid back and at home atmosphere.

Great pizza and outdoor setting. The staff was inattentive and rude. Took over an hour to get our two pizzas out, and there were only about 6-8 tables occupied outside. Tried to order a beer, waitress came back and said they were out. Ordered another, she said they were out again. Didn’t try a third time. From what I could gather they were fine with locals but not with tourists.

Talk about a hidden gem. Our service was outstanding. Staff was super friendly. Outdoor area is great! And the pizza? Well, it was pretty freaking delicious! Craft style pizza, tasty crust, tons of options, more than just pizza, too! We will for sure be back!

Lunch was delicious! I got a pesto pizza and my husband got a normal pizza, and both were great. We got to try a San Antonio brand soda, which was really cool to see available. This place was huge outside with plenty of seating for busier times or big parties. I liked our cozy nook toward the back of the restaurant where the lighting was really nice. Everyone we interacted with was friendly and nice. We are a huge fan of the service and the pizza here.

We saw this little pizza joint while driving to an appointment and decided to go back and have lunch, so glad we did. It’s a unique, fun spot with craft beer, a laid back family spot outside and the pizza was awesome. I always forget to take pictures before I eat so my food photo does not do the pizza justice. We shared a 12″ Athena and a Greek salad, perfect for two. We are definitely going back!
