I’ve never heard of Zovs, a few of my friends have been coming here for years and have watched this restaurant build itself up, and I really wish I heard about this place sooner, because every time I opened my mouth and ate was one of those “you lean back in your chair and reflect” moments. Absolutely amazing.

To start off once you get inside the bistro they keep it very fresh with natural light. It reminds me of what Javier’s in Newport did with their semi outdoor revamp. The light is plentiful, it makes things open, more social. I love it. Our host was great in getting us a table, she was very kind. It also wasn’t long before our waiter came by, I liked how the attentiveness was so quick. I came for brunch, so the menu itself isn’t as plentiful with options as the dinner menu but there’s something for everyone which I liked.

It was 1pm but pancakes and French toast were still an option for appetizers, so I took a wild card and got the lemon ricotta pancakes and the baklava French toast which isn’t pictured but we ate it all so quick I didn’t get time to snap one. Both were EXTREMELY good, every single person who dipped their fork into the starters had something good to say, the airy lemon flavor with the light ricotta on the fluffy pancakes and the more sweet and soft feeling of the French toast.

The braised short rib was extremely tender, I had some expectations for it since it is one of the highest priced options on the menu, and they knocked it out of the park. The hash browns and sauce on the bottom added that little extra kick you needed to complete a fork-full. The salad, I would have preferred just a little less dressing, but not close to even complaining about, it tasted great. I took it upon myself to walk through the back and get to the other side where the cafe is and grab some pastries, the pumpkin cheesecake and a matcha, a wonderful way to end the experience here.

We came here with a relatively large group under a reservation. This was everyone’s first time at the location and we has a great time. The food was great and the menu was varied enough for everyone to be happy. The lamb burger was phenomenal. I’d highly recommend this place to anyone.

Zov’s is wonderful. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and the service is great. Less than five stars for the food was just my lack of realizing a lot of the menu is Greek. I choose a pasta for our lunch meal, it was good. I prefer their breakfast or dinner menu. I recommend.

My team of coworkers went for dinner, Benjamin our waiter was above and beyond amazing, the food superb, tasty and delicious, I had a lavender lemonade and shrimp kebab and a lemon bar from the Bakery, super scrumptious, highly recommend this place, the atmosphere lovely and cute.

The food was mediocre at best disappointed The bakery top-notch The kitchen can use work I’m being honest. I tell you what’s missing on the menu double cut French cut lamb chops American not New Zealand or Australian forget all that American double cut lamb chops put them on the menu then I’ll be back I can tell the difference and so can a lot of other people. It’s not like you’re not charging The menu is very pricey for mediocre step it up folks.

I haven’t been there in decades. Five star service. Limited vegetarian options. I had the angel hair pasta. Divine! Also the eggplant fries. Dessert to die for. All the 5 carnivores in our party loved their food. Everything from sea bass, calamari, short rib pasta, meatloaf and salmon. Would definitely return.

A group of us came for brunch on a Saturday, the service was amazing, we were greeted and seated right away. Our server had great recommendations and his timing to the table was impeccable. The banana bread lattes were flowing, waffles were toppling with berries, smoked salmon toast was on point. The chocolate bomb comes highly recommended, all of the baked goods looked dangerously delicious

Great location, service and food. I loved that they have their own bakery and make fresh cakes. I loved the food and wine here. I got the almond crusted salmon and it was very tasty. Our server was also very attentive and nice. Our food was ready in a timely manner and the server checked
Many times with us to make sure we were happy and comfortable. This is a great place for dinner and prices are reasonable.

this is a Orange County Success story. Take some time to find about this Family. They have several amazing restaurants throughout Orange County now. This bakery breakfast spot is an amazing place to get desserts to take home after you have stuffed yourself with carbs and protein.

This place was highly recommended by a friend. The restaurant has good ambiance (a little noisy during lunch). Our server was very friendly, attentive and overall service was great. The food, however, was very disappointing. We had a chop-chop salad with chicken, which was mostly lettuce with very small pieces of chicken that were difficult to find, a grilled salmon salad where baby greens were drowning in heavy dressing and salmon was no more than 5-6 ozs. $100 plus tips for lunch for 2 with a small starter and no drinks is over priced for the quality and quantity of food. They have a bakery on the other side of the restaurant. Bought a few different pastries and while not cheap, they were excellent.
