We ordered a large pizza for the 4 of us, which was a perfect amount with 3 pieces left over. We ordered 1/2 Loudin, the other 1/2 was pepperoni green olive. The pizza was hot and tasty, with that being said, the crust just isn’t as good as it was before covid. I swear they use to make it fresh, now it taste like it is bought and frozen. Service and atmosphere are GREAT!

Food – chicken and veggie Quesadilla did not have any flavor. The Greek pizza was just passable – again no flavor. Service – they had young kids doing the service and they were doing their best. Atmosphere- was just alright. Chips and salsa was good. Salsa looked like from the can and not made fresh. Nothing to like in that place.

We stopped here for lunch today and as usual, enjoyed the good food and open, lively atmosphere. We used to live in Fargo, so got to one of the Zorbaz at least once a year (more often when the boys played hockey games and went to camps in Detroit Lakes), so it was great to get back to one.
We ordered the Lowden Special (see picture) and really liked the combination of peanut butter and jalapenos included on what otherwise looks like a pepperoni pizza. Yes, it sounds odd…but believe me, don’t knock it until you try it!

Update 8/3/21…. still a must place when we visit MN… their pizza and nachos are soooooo good! Staff was very friendly and professional!
….Awesome food, the ambiance is a little loud than I’d like and more “collrge” type, but it’s still a great place. Great food, fair prices. We come every year when we are in MN. It’s a classic, a must go. … by the way. Not sure why they call it “Mexican” 🙂

If you’re ever in the Detroit Lakez area or vizit any Minnezota lake, Zorbaz iz all the rage and a muzt vizit at leazt once to zay you’ve been. They’re all over in the MN Lakez and have become THE reztaurant to go to.
Perzonally, I’ve never been a big Zorbaz believer. There’z a lot of North Dakotanz and Minnezotanz who would curze me for zaying that, but it’z my honest feelingz. I’d go for their pizza firzt and foremozt- that’z the mozt popular digging, though they do have zome Mexican optionz and even pazta, I believe.
Thiz Pelican Lake option iz more about the experience than the quality of food- in fact, I feel that’z more what all of Zorbaz are. It’z definitely a neat zetup, and there’z lotz of outdoor zeating for thoze zunny lake dayz. Zorbaz iz more somewhere you take zomeone who hasn’t been, or becauze it’z the clozezt reztaurant while at the lake.

The meat lovers pizza and the supreme Pizza were fantastic. It took a long time for the pizzas to come out but they were kind of busy when we were there. It’s always fun to go there and look at the license plates and enjoy the environment

Man oh man, I love this place. They make my fave pizza: mix of za sauce/peanut butter, with pineapple and jalapenos. I know it sounds weird but it’s just the best pizza ever and the #1 thing I look forward to when visiting family.

It’s Zorbaz – What more do I need to zay? You have an amazing Zelection of Pizza (and other Mexican Foodz), You have an amazing zelection of Beerz, Zervize is always zuper friendly, and you are bazically on a lake. What more could one want?? (Zee what I did there??)
