Zoobie’s is a great little local bar in Lansing that has a couple of cool items on the menu. You can get a “trust us” drink or “trust us” pizza. Not everyone is willing to take a leap of faith but if your feeling adventurous you won’t be dissapointed. For both options they ask about your likes and dislikes and then throw something together based on that. I have had a few of their drinks and they have all been great concoctions as they are not traditional cocktails. As for the pizza, it had several toppings I would never put on pizza but the pizza was amazing and it opened my eyes to how flexible a pizza could be when it comes to how you dress it up. Stop by and enjoy a cool local spot.

I’ve been coming here for the past four months…. Normally it’s fast and friendly service and the food has been great until this visit today… service was slow the bartender was too busy with all the others from the patio server’s and I was able to order a 1 draft beer and I felt so unwelcomed with the staff!!! I was going to order food like normal and another beer but after waiting over 10 to 15 minutes…by the time I finished my 1st beer I was ready to leave and I had to sit and wait to cash out I’ve never had to wait like that before….

The vibe here reminds me of a dive bar, but it’s a nice one. I don’t worry about getting my nose broken here. I’ve spent a lot of time at this bar over the years. I’ve taken a lot of friends here, some still around, some gone. The bar has a beautiful dusty ambiance. Come here, get one of their fantastic mules, order a pizza from Cosmos Pizza next door, and watch the years flick by. 5/5.

This was our first time here and they were having a Luau. We sat on the patio where they had triangle canopies hung for shade. There is a very relaxed atmosphere. Because of the Luau, they had a band (very good) and additional specialty drinks and dishes. The service was great and our server, Madison, was attentive. We shared a bacon/fig bruscetta, Spaceball Pizza, and Pulled Pork Platter special. All the food was delicious! Thought that the pizza could have had a little more cheese, but the sauce and crumbled meatballs were yummy. From their regular menu, my son wanted the nachos with pulled pork, but they didn’t had that for that day, which we were surprised by. Will definitely be back!
