We had a light breakfast traditional Egyptian type
Food tastes good, bread was fresh however the size and inclusions fail to meet standards in similar places and definitely below our expectations
This is the best side of our experience at Zooba!
The place is not clean, humble and pretty small
The service was below average and personnel lack standard customer service! They were grumpy and made us feel they hate this job
I will never go back to this place

I ordered Koshary and salad. Salad was good and Koshary was just okay because the portion was too big and got cold before I finished it. Unfortunately, I got to sit right next to the front door and it couldn’t be closed properly, so the wind from outside blew into my food, cooled both my food and me.

Great and clean street food that lets you enjoy the local Egyptian food and have no concerns. We had Kashari and it was amazing. Went back next day for the sandwich and they did not disappoint.

Great food. When i went (on a Friday around 4.30pm) it was full with a line outside.
It looks like a lot of tourists dine here.
I got the mixed spices fries + falafel = 248 EGP

We ordered Ta’amiya and foul sandwiches for takeaway. The sandwiches were light, fresh & delicious. The service was fast. The place was nice but small with many tourists. The prices were affordable. We returned again for another order.

Order koshary , molokia and lemon with mint juice. Fair enough I’m not fan of koshary but this was super delicious. I finished my plate satisfied. The juice was perfect and balance. I couldn’t finish the molokia but it was also good. The best meal I had do far in Egypt even better of what I had in my 5 stars hotel.

Here’s a smoother, more polished version that keeps it honest and balanced:

Zumba is a very small space, with seating for only about 4–5 parties. Despite the limited size, the service was surprisingly slow. We visited on a Monday evening and waited around 30 minutes just to be seated. It then took another 30 minutes for someone to take our order, and about 45 minutes for the food to arrive.

The food itself was pretty good. I ordered the beef liver bowl, while my friend got the sausage bowl. Both were decent, but we preferred the sausage bowl overall.

Yo, slid through Cairo, the city don’t sleep,
Zamalek streets where the flavors run deep.
Hit up Zooba, that local scene,
Bright colors poppin’, Egyptian dream.

Tiny spot, but the vibe so wide,
Street food pride with a playful side.
Dine in, take out — either way you roll,
They serve that heat, that’s food for the soul.

Falafel fire, koshari tight,
Taste buds dancin’ all day, all night.
Drinks on chill, got that sweet retreat,
Every sip hit like a Cairo beat.

Copped a tee for a cause — that’s real, no cap,
Good vibes wrapped in a cotton wrap.
Crew’s got love, yeah, cool with flair,
Maybe step it up, but the heart’s all there.

From the Nile breeze to the kitchen flame,
Zooba’s got soul, and it’s earnin’ its name.
A taste, a vibe, a cultural spark,
Cairo town shining bright after dark.

Very good food at excellent prices, service polite and accurate. Even their chairs have individual design! Recommend without reservations.

Id been meaning to try Zooba all week, but only for around to it on my second from last day in Cairo, but it was well worth the wait.
I ate at 5pm and it was vert busy. A lot of tourists, good atmosphere. A general good busy buzz, which actually most restaurant don’t usually have that time of day.
I had Om ghanoush & chicken shawarma, both very tasty and represent good value, left feeling very full.
