Easy to be seated quickly. Our food was AMAZING. Got the taquitos as an app, then the barria anc street tacos- speechless. Server was fantastic as well as the bartender. Would highly recommend if you’re craving great food with take home portions!

Had the best dinner at Zona! So excited that it is down the street from our house! The chips and salsa were amazing! The margaritas were so good. We also had a sushi roll to start and then surf and tacos and the poke stack, which was incredible! Abby was an amazing server! The entire staff was so nice. Love the patio and the inside dining was so cute! So excited to come back!

Good food but a tough vibe on the timing. Waited 30 minutes to get a table of 10 outside. Food arrived very late. From the time the first plate arrived until the last plate was approx. 25 minutes. It’s very hard to share a meal this way. Two people in our party had to leave before the food arrived.

Zona Cantina is hands down our favorite place to dine out while in Mesa!! The fusion of Mexican and Asian food is absolutely amazing. We’ve been coming here for two years and are never disappointed with the food, drinks, or service! Our recent visit for lunch did not disappoint us! Brian the bartender made us some exceptional cocktails and was super attentive to us!! Thanks Brian!!

I had a disappointing Valentine’s Day dinner at this Mexican restaurant. My husband booked an indoor table, but we were seated outside without prior notice. When we reminded them of the reservation, they ignored us and claimed it was the only available table.
We reluctantly agreed to sit outside, but asked for a heater multiple times. Our server seemed uninterested and eventually lied about running out of gas. We witnessed another server easily turn on the heater for other customers, making us feel deceived.
This isn’t our first bad experience – we had a similar issue 2 weeks ago. The food is delicious, but the service is terrible. We’re disappointed and feel misled. Management should review their service standards.

Angelica our server was excellent, she recommended a perfect appetizer and meal combo. Food was delicious, the margaritas were a lot better than I expected. The atmosphere was pleasant. Would recommend to anyone looking for a really good Asian Mexican fusion dinner.

We have eaten at the northeast Mesa location several times and the tacos were delicious. Thought we would try the new location. Ordered the Korean Braised Short Rib Tacos which also happens to be the most expensive taco plate $22. Asked the server if we could please switch out one of the tacos for a less expensive shrimp taco. Still paying the price of the Korean beef of course. They have done this before at the other location. The waitress asked the manager and he refused. He said they can’t do that. We all know they can they just don’t want to. Well I still ordered them and also ordered a prickly pear margarita. My husband ordered the surf and turf burrito. The tacos were great as always. My husband pulled out little pieces of fat from his burrito. Okay sometimes that happens when eating beef. As my husband gets to the end of his burrito, he has got a large piece of fat that he pulled out and it was actually strips of raw bacon. The bacon is mostly white not even rendered. The manager walked by we stopped him to let him know that the bacon in his burrito was completely raw.He looked at it and said , oh I’ll go talk to the cook. The waitress comes over.We also made her aware. She comes back with the check and said because of this they aren’t going to charge me for my margarita. Instead of taking the burrito off?? This makes no sense to us. Very poor management, quite clearly they do not appreciate your business (repeat customers) and are completely fine with uncooked food being served to their guests. We will not be returning and definitely will not recommend this to others as we have many times in the past. We took a picture but don’t see where that can be attached.

First time trying this restaurant and we were very excited when we got there, service was great! But food, terrible. Absolutely no flavor at all. So much extra stuff on my fish tacos I couldn’t even taste the fish. Very disappointing

I came to celebrate my birthday with my 2 friends and Melisa was super!!! Never had to ask for drink refills, she was on top of it! She was kind , courteous and very attentive. She Mentioned she was in training but we could not see that. She customer service was top tier to seasoned servers. Definitely and asset to your team Zona!

Wanting fajitas for dinner, I Googled “best places for fajitas near me” and ZONA popped up as a choice. I got there around 7, got a rock start parking out front, wondered whether it’s open. It was, only about a quarter full, got a table and served right away. As I was dining a handful of groups started to arrive and the place for busy.
The interior decor is pleasant, a tad small for a sports bar and grill but comfortable. In lieu of fajita, I ordered Grilled Chicken Plate. It came with thinly sliced grilled chicken, grilled veggies, corn tortilla, and salad – pretty much a fajita without bell peppers. It was good but greasy.
I would go back and recommend it to friends if I’m in the neighborhood, within 15 min drive, or meeting friends. I would not go out of way, drive 20 min., as a solo.
