We had the veal milanese and ravioli…. oh and garlic mashed potatoes. all really yummy! the little pre-food plate they provide was yummy- great spicy peppers, olives, pickles, cheese. the young server was super friendly and attentive. we had a really nice time!!!

Tried Zola’s last night for the first time after hearing mixed reviews. When we first walked in we were greeted right away and seated. We were given the corner booth and told it was “the best seat in the house.” When we first sat down it felt like a swarm of people came to our table bringing us the menu, water, bread, etc. It was a different person for each one so we were not sure who our server was. We then sat there for a while waiting for someone to come back to take our drink and food order. A guy who looked to be the manager walked by that I had to stare down came over and asked if everything was okay. I asked if we could order as we had been sitting there about twenty minutes without even being asked if we wanted drinks. Eventually the young kid who sat us came to take our order. I also observed that as other people came in everyone was sat on the upper level and we were the only ones on the lower level besides when we came in there was a family finishing up. Found this weird as I said earlier we were told it was the “best seat in the house” but we were isolated away from the other people.
Now on to food. I got a 2 lemon drop martinis and they were not consistent in taste. My first one was too sour, the second one seemed to be lacking in alcohol and was then too sweet. The complimentary starter and bread was good, however they start you off with a nice warm fluffy bread but if you get a refill the pieces get smaller.
The meatball appetizer with ricotta was my favorite item of the night. The meatballs actually had some zest to them as I usually find meatballs to be too plain when dining out, but the thought also crossed my mind that they tasted like those frozen meatballs you’d get at a grocery store the ones that are in a red, green, and white bag that say cooked perfectly. The ricotta cheese was amazing though. The piece of chicken was huge and had left overs. The seasoned potatoes and vegetables were also pretty good. The tiramisu was lacking in the coffee flavoring you typically find in tiramisu. After dinner they also gave us our choice of complimentary shots. Overall I’d try them again to see if the service was better.

I would like to thank David for his great hospitality and service . We had dinner at the bar. We enjoyed the ambiance , music, decor, food and drink. David spoiled us with complimentary wine and even offered us after dinner drinks. I found this to be amazing!!! Over the top service! Very thankful . My wife and I ate at Zola’s for Valentine’s Day. The service was great and so was the food. Our server Diane was very attentive. The owner even stopped by our table and had a nice conversation. Definitely a 5 star night (plus my drink was never empty). Would recommend for a pleasant night out.

Have been to this place several times. The food is always good, but the service definitely needs improvement. We decided to go on Valentine’s Day, knowing it would be busy. We were seated right away in the back dining room. After 30 minutes of no service, my husband complained to the hostess. The waiter in the room was waiting on tables that arrived after us which was ridiculous. 10 minutes later a waiter finally came and we ordered our drinks, appetizer and dinner all at once Took another 30 min. for our drinks to come, longer for the appetizer and then dinner. Ordered another drink that never came. The group next to us, which were there when we arrived, were waited on after us, got their appetizers and meal way after us and never got their drinks. The table behind me also complained. It was so disorganized. We decided to leave after 2 1/4 hours without dessert and coffee. We were afraid we would be there for another hour.

Food is excellent, unfortunately, the service is incredibly slow, and the servers seemed challenged. We needed to ask for a glass of water three times and this salt and pepper four times. We never got bread at the table. We never saw a dessert menu because after waiting for 30 minutes we just asked for the check. It’s a shame really because the food is so good but I don’t expect we will return.

This was our first time here and we thought the food was excellent. It’s a beautiful place with great ambience. All of the staff were very pleasant and Attentive. We had the filet of sole pagano and the pollo portofino with vodka sauce, bread crumbs and smoked mozzarella and they were both delicious. Highly recommend!

PROS: Probably the freshest Calamari I’ve ever tasted. The fresh bread was delicious. My husband enjoyed his beef bolognese. The staff is very friendly and nice. They gave a cute complimentary box of chocolates for Valentine’s Day.
CONS: They didn’t have any rigatoni prepared/ready … on a Friday… the day of Valentine’s Day? I ordered the pasta de’ mar dish and they forgot my shrimp (we did come during lunch so maybe it was a newer chef?). My dish wasn’t really flavorful at all compared to the apps. I wish I had the marinara sauce from the calamari for my dish. It wasn’t bad at all just lacked flavor. The bathroom smelt really bad like someone had a huge bowl movement and for a more high end restaurant I was disappointed with the up keep of the bathroom. It was clean but the walls are dirty and need to be repainted. The doorknobs for the stalls need to be replaced.
I would come back but I think I would order a regular entree instead of pasta.

Possibly the worst dining experience we’ve ever had.
Waited 15mins just for water, 20mins for our drinks. The waiter took our entree orders, and this was the last time we saw him for the entire time we were there.
Food finally came out – we waited another 40+ mins (!!!) for our entrees. Food was average at best. We ran out of water and couldn’t even order more cocktails, so we just choked down our meals to leave. Couldn’t even flag someone down to get anyone’s attention. It wasn’t just us either. We overheard 3 other tables complaining how bad everything was and one guy even got up to complain to management.
All we wanted to do was leave. So, I finally was able to grab what I think was a manger for our check – we then waited ANOTHER 25mins!!! We were so close to just walking out.
When leaving, there was a line for people trying to get seated for their reservations. Some had been waiting for over an hour.
We will never go back to this place.

This was our first time coming here and I must say the place looks beautiful. The atmosphere was great. The food was awesome from the appetizers to the main entree , right down to the dessert, but I must say the service was outstanding. Our waiter was Fernando and I must say he was phenomenal great personality great knowledge of the menu and the place in general such a good young man with great character and great work ethics, because of his outstanding service and everything else I mentioned I will definitely be coming back and telling other people about this place.
