Beautiful view from the deck and they have an area for dogs. Very limited menu. Burger was okay. The veggie buger was not a favorite. Services was good. Great place for a cold beer and a fabulous view.

I got there before the lunch rush on a Saturday, not very many people, and was seated outside immediately. I got the Zoka burger, and it was fantastic, perfectly cooked. I got the green chili as a side, so worth it, it was real green chili. I usually don’t get dessert, but the peanut butter and chocolate cheese cake was too good to pass up. The staff there are extremely friendly and knowledgeable.

Place is an awesome spot, food is NOT good. Ordered 2 chicken sandwich’s. The one sandwich had dry overcooked chicken, came with barely any fries that were soggy and seemed leftover from the day before (arrived when they opened) . The gluten free sandwich wasn’t even toasted and was also soggy. Just not what you’d expect in 2025— truly just not good. Should have just eaten the leftover sandwiches in our cooler.

We were out for a drive up around Pine Grove. We stopped there for lunch and were met by Larry. He was very fun and friendly. The restaurant was nice and it was clean and there were a few people and he was treating everyone so. He was so happy to be there and helping. The food was really good with good-sized portions. Loved this place.

Our bartender/server was awesome! My husband was very pleased with his chicken sandwich on a ciabatta bun. I ordered the house vegan burger which I have to say typically “veggie” burgers don’t impress me, and this was the norm that I experienced here as well. Crispy on the outside, squishy on the inside, lacking flavor, and the brioche bun seemed kind of stale. It didn’t accompany lettuce, tomato, or onion, so I had to ask. The potato salad was good, but seemed on the older side, rather than fresh. I was told it was vinegar based, which was not, but good, none-the-less. The establishment looks like an old house, wood floors, and cute, dog style decor. A cute local restaurant in the mountains, with an outside, and dog friendly patio. I would definitely return, to try something new, and to give them another chance.

Was pleasantly surprised by the quality of food. I ordered one of the best chicken moles I have ever had. The chicken was moist and tender and cooked to perfection. The staff was friendly and helpful. The restaurant itself was clean and roomy and in a very picturesque setting. It’s not often you find a restaurant in a remote location that can compete with those in an urban setting, but this is that kind of place. The only slight negative… In an effort to conserve water (tanked in), they are using paper plates.

Zoka’s Restaurant & Bar is a charming, rustic eatery nestled in the mountains, offering elevated American comfort food in a relaxed, welcoming setting. Known for its creative daily specials, fresh ingredients, and hearty portions, favorites include their bison burger, elk meatloaf, and rotating seasonal dishes. The bar serves a good selection of local brews and wines. Service is friendly, and the cozy ambiance makes it a great stop for both locals and visitors.

When we arrived on a Sunday early afternoon, they were super busy. Sign up on the door asked for forgiveness up front for being short staffed and that wait times would be a little longer. Despite the craziness of the crowd, all of the staff working was super polite and helpful and in constant apology mode for the delays. We ended up finding some spots at the bar before our table was ready.
Food was really good. He got a burger cooked as requested, a little pink. I got the grilled chicken sandwich, the bread was amazing, not such a hard crust that it was hard to bite into. We both got the sweet potato fries, not over cooked. They have a chef and they take the time to take pride in what they serve. I also had the house mixed Sangria. If you like Sangria, give it a try.
Overall, a small, small town restaurant that is working hard to meet the crazy busy of summer and tourist expectations. I think they pass with flying colors, especially if you can be human and have a little patience.
Good food, drinks, and service.
We needed to find a place to add some air to our back tire and the staff was able to point us in the direction of somewhere close.
Thank you for the great experience.

We must not have ordered the right things because all the other reviews are glowing. But I rate what I experienced. The food was not great, the brisket was fatty and needed sauce and the sides were under seasoned. I think this place gets a lot of campers who are not expecting a whole lot. The staff were friendly and nice.

Really fantastic. Possibly the best Reuben I’ve ever had, with their in-house-smoked corned beef. Sweet potato fries and pickle are crisp and delicious. Chokecherry mojito is amazing. Excellent people. Awesome view. <3
