Full menu… Excellent breakfast section. Place is tired and fresh at the same time. Like most places these days prices are higher than one would like. For sure will be back to try more of the menu.

ZJ’s is a cool little diner serving delicious Greek and American cuisine. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner all day and have daily specials. The food here is very good.
My squad had the Texas hots, burger and Belgian waffles. All of which were excellent.
The service was good. The waitress attended to all our needs and was timely with her response. All the food came out in a decent amount of time and was perfectly cooked.
The atmosphere was average. Exactly what you would expect for a diner type restaurant. It was very clean and kept nice
This place is a solid 3.75 out of 5. I would recommend this place for all types of parties. Good for families and people of all ages.

Great service, friendly wait staff, but bad and inconsistent food. We’ve gone several times and each time we have had great staff who were very accommodating to my dietary restrictions. This review is only about the food. Each time we went either my husband’s food was bad or my food was bad. This last time both our food was bad. My husband’s chicken fried steak had cold gravy, hardened cheddar cheese on the home fries, and a hair in his pancakes. My egg was good but my pancakes had a hair as well not to mention tiny but annoying egg shells(at least I’m hoping they were egg shells) in the one pancake. I had a full view of the kitchen where the restrooms were and I’m not sure when the last time they cleaned the back side of the stove top. It was caked with grease. Unfortunately we gave too many chances and won’t be back. The hairs sealed the deal.

Stopped here on the way to Canada, and so glad we did! The atmosphere was very inviting and truly that of a “family” restaurant. Our server, Will, was highly attentive and checking to make sure we were having the best dining experience. We had the chopped steak dinner and a large cheeseburger w/fries. Both were perfectly prepared, and just how we requested them. I would come back here in a heartbeat. Nothing to complain about at all. It was all good. Other customers, some regulars, looked just as pleased as they left.

The town of Hamburg seems to be the home of the best breakfast. So far my wife and I have gone to three different places just to try out the breakfast experience and they’ve all been excellent.
The pancakes might be the exception as in they weren’t excellent but they were still very good. The eggs were done perfectly as if somebody was trained to be a chef and they were perfectly cooked with just the right amount of skin and an over easy egg. Bacon was fried perfectly. Not too chewy nor too crispy and overdone. My wife loves her Canadian bacon. The home fries had a nice brown crunchy skin on one side and tender white seasoned potatoes which were tender and full of of goodness on other side.
My coffee was kept mostly full with one or two slight lapses but nothing start killing. The staff was friendly enough but definitely seemed like they were working versus greeting family members.
Overall was it worthwhile visit with clean fest service in really good food. Definitely worth a visit if you live in Hamburg and near it heavier a little bit farther out of town. The other two places I would recommend to visit first, but this place is definitely worth a visit if you are frequently looking for a breakfast spot and you’re with the driving distance.

I’ve been in search of a good texas hot sauce since seneca hots and nicks closed in south buffalo. omg ive found it here. its worth the trip to get these texas hots its definitely nicks sauce i think a bit better im hooked ill be getting alot more and they sell just the sauce too so good to find sauce b 4 summer starts ill be making them at home to

The first time I went to ZJ’s I was blown away. It’s a very unassuming greek-style diner with breakfast and lunch options (dinner too, but I always forget that!). However, they are exactly what you hope to get within the genre. The pancakes are next level good, the club sandwich is stacked, and just overall they are consistently high quality, not greasy, and the food is made with care. An absolute staple to the village of Hamburg dining options that should not be overlooked!

Very good, friendly staff, good size portions. Had eggs bacon which they give you more than two strips french toast 10 out of 10 would recommend whatever they do to the butter is out of this world. Great place for friends and family. First impressions amazing definitely will be going back for their lunch and dinner
