I believe this is probably the top Italian restaurant in SMA, by far. The space and ambiance is like a Florence vila. The front of house staff is clearly well trained and of course the food was superb, the desert, outstanding. I hope you try this amazing restaurant! We ate Risotto in squid ink, roasted tomato Soup, salmon carpaccio, chocolate torte and tiramisu. Every bite was delicious!
Came back a second time and it was as good as the first!!!

This is an exceptional Italian restaurant in the heart of San Miguel de Allende. The staff definitely new the importance of high quality service. For this place I felt like I was in Italy, but with a relaxed nature. The ambiance was soothing and they had Italiano music playing. They never rushed you. The food and wine was superb. I highly reccomended that you give this treasure a try. I will return on my next visit. Buon appitito

This place is picture perfect, the atmosphere, the stoned wall covered by a beautiful flowering vine, it makes you feel in Italy. A place with comfortable seating, great lighting and better food, everything we had was fantastic, we also, fell in love with their homemade bread, we even bought a baguette to go lol. I agree with other reviewers, the owner or manager was super attentive, but perhaps wait staff could use some improvement.

Set in a beautiful inner courtyard with fairy lights in the trees, the setting was perfect for an excellent meal delivered by friendly and professional staff. There were four of us and we enjoyed our cocktails and food very much and felt that the various dishes were better than many other Italian meals in SMA and in Italy.
There is a lovely rooftop cocktail bar that served a bar menu and a nice view.
I strongly recommend this restaurant and am planning our next visit already.

Quick thoughts, Really good food! There was a lot of synergy with the dishes. This place leans on the pricier end. The bread was very good!
Per my understanding a lot of items with made in house. The bread of basket was very good. Service was great and knowledgeable of menu items.
Flavors were definitely different in a good way. Dishes seem to lean more on the natural flavors from the ingredients themselves versus over use of seasonings or just leaning heavily on one ingredient like cheese. Would recommend trying if looking for a good Italian restaurant in San Miguel de Allende.

Dinner for six was magnificent! Food and service were exceptional. Their current special risotto menu is soooo good! as well as their lasagna, ravioli, New Zealand mussels, and so much more. Even their special anniversary red wine blend was delicious. Service was just the right amount of attention. The tucked away courtyard is very pretty, and the rooftop has amazing views. Prices are extremely reasonable. Wine list is also very reasonable. Absolutely one of the best experiences we’ve had since moving to San Miguel de Allende. All six of us raved about the restaurant and staff.

Beautiful, tranquil, courtyard setting with fantastic food and impeccable service. Pizzas were delicious and make sure to leave room for dessert. Our table devoured the tiramisu and chocolate lava cake. Reasonable prices and great central location.

Ziracco in San Miguel de Allende is an absolute gem! From the moment we stepped into this charming restaurant, we were enveloped by warm hospitality and an inviting ambiance that perfectly blends rustic Italian charm with the vibrant spirit of San Miguel. The menu is a love letter to authentic Italian cuisine, with every dish crafted from fresh, high-quality ingredients. The handmade pasta was a standout—perfectly al dente with sauces that burst with flavor. I couldn’t resist the tiramisu for dessert, and it was hands-down the best I’ve ever had, creamy and perfectly balanced. The attentive staff made us feel like family, offering thoughtful wine pairings that elevated the meal. Ziracco is a must-visit for anyone craving an unforgettable Italian dining experience in the heart of San Miguel de Allende. We’ll be back soon!

It’s a great beautiful place with some shops inside, the atmosphere at night is quite lovely and romantic. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. I got the Parmesan fettuccine that they prepare in front of you, my GF got the spaghetti arrabiata and my Mom got the Minestrone soup. They were all great dishes but the Parmesan fettuccine was out of this world, super rich and creamy. Definitely worth going and returning.
