To start off, the burger only had a patty and pickles in it. The patty was dry and tasted like cardboard. The employee at the drive thru was speaking so softly we couldn’t hear her.

Between bad management and a failing city infrastructure this zips isn’t good to stop at. The ppl are nice enough and the food is typical zips but it’s just not worth the prices they’re hitting now. Plus the tarter tastes like onion powder and pepper mixed with mayo. Nothing like real zips tarter.
But yeah $18.53 for a fast food combo is crazy even with all the fixings. Can’t justify that for 2 basic cheese burgers. Especially when the same cheese burgers are on sale for 2 for $6 on the sign.
When burger joints are charging almost $20 for a simple 2 cheese burger combo, they’re gonna lose business fast, especially if they’re cheap burgers. Zips whole allure was cheap burgers in both quality AND price. Now they’re lower quality than they used to be, and at an unreasonable price. It’s not zips fault though.
This is a trend in the service industry as a whole but its particularly painful watching the zips franchise in its death throws because it’s always been one of my favs. This is what happens when no one stands up for the cost of living in our city though.
Places like zips can’t afford to pay their employees $25 an hour because there’s only so much $ you can sell a cheeseburger for. If you as a population don’t start insisting on price caps for things that effect the cost of living like rent, utilities, and food then places like zips are going to founder and fail out because the math doesn’t math. Their employees are already struggling to pay their bills, especially with other scams on our working community in play atm. If you wanna see prices some back down, start holding city and state leadership accountable in ways they can’t worm their ways out of.
And pray for Zips’ survival!

Ordered two regular size fish and chips. Each order had three pieces of fish. All six pieces of fish were awful. Super chewy like rubbery. Was very disappointed. Also ordered a corn dog for my granddaughter. It was drenched in oil sadly. I asked for tartar and fry sauce. We got tartar which is nothing to rave about and no fry sauce. Number one reason why i go to zips is for the fry sauce. Very disappointed and over prices for garbage food this time.

The burgers were cold and it only took 1 minute to receive my order of 5 burgers and fries. This shows me that the burgers are precooked and waiting. Unacceptable and I will never eat at this location again. The date was 11/20/2025 at 7:30. If I was the owner I would fix this problem immediately. Your establishment is gonna get someone sick.

I bought the $14.00 shrimp basket and I have to say I was pleasantly pleasantly surprised! It is hard to tell in the photographs but there was a lot of food there and for the price, I thought it was very reasonable. There were roughly 15 pieces of shrimp perfectly breaded, crunchy and cooked all the way through but not overcooked. There were also a lot of fries, I just wish they were crispy but they were still good. The tartar sauce was really good as well. You could tell it was homemade. The cocktail sauce was in a peely top container, factory made, but the fifth ingredient on the ingredient list was horseradish sauce, so there was a little bit of horsey sauce flavor in it, sufficient.
All in all I was super happy with this being my first time with a zips drive-thru and I will definitely go here again. ❤️

The place was quiet and clean. The employees at the time seemed bored of being there. There were not rude or mean but not cheerful. Just another day at work feeling it felt like. The food was eh ok. I got the triple burger but felt like a quarter pounder since the patties are small. Plus my hamburger came smashed as you can see in the pic. All of that for 12.72 do this place is spendy for what you get.
