I’ve been coming here for years and they never disappoint. My food is always amazing and I can tell it’s made with love. I have been craving this for weeks and I said today is the day I’m free and nothing to do, so I stopped in and was greeted with a smile, it smells amazing. They have definitely came a long way, it’s been some renovations which look nice and the new menus was super helpful. I got the #1 combo, and it comes with jollof rice, chicken I sub for goat tho and plantains, I also added cassava all over.. and I had to get two of my favorite meat pies…. I’m about to crush this food. The best part is I don’t have to share ❤️

I spent over $30 for a meat pie, and a goat/jollof/plantain meal to only receive two pieces of meat and and huge heap of rice. Totally disappointed in the proportions. Will never order again. The rice and meat pie were tasty.

Stumbled on this restaurant by accident. I tried their Egusi w/ Fufu and chicken. Had major abdominal pain days later, went to the doctors to only find out the food was highly contaminated with bacteria that left lesions on my liver. The workers don’t wear protective masks nor hairnets/gloves when preparing your food. And they almost never get your order correct.

My first time here and I must say that lady I encountered today was rude. She couldn’t answer if the African chicken was sweet, spicy or anything. The place has an odor soon as you walk in. I went ahead and ordered the american chicken and it was insulting. It was beyond dry, not chewable and zero flavor. I asked her how much extra is it for the rice and she said $18. I ordered the rock creek soda and the menu said it was $1.40. It turned out to be $1.76. I asked the lady why is it .36¢ more than what’s posted on the menu and she shrugged her shoulders and walked away. I said ok, I know not to come back here. Major disappointed. Definitely don’t recommend nor will I be returning. Zero stars if I could

Ordered moi moi and got a project instead of a prepared meal. The instructions on the back are VERY limited. It doesn’t even tell you how to store the bag. If the moi moi isn’t readily prepared, you need to include that on Postmates.
For added clarification: I like to try something new from this restaurant every time I order because most of the dishes are DELICIOUS. I ordered the moi moi after searching it up. I expected a prepared flan – sized serving not a pouch that one would find at an international market.
Also whoever packed the red stew did not seal the container! The lid doesn’t even fit in the container. Half the stew spilled in the bag.
The jollof rice, fish roll, beans, and pounded yam are great as usual. If you get the fish roll, get the spicy sauce too!

This restaurant serves a variety of West African food. Parking is available in front of the restaurant but is limited. Choose to dine in or take away. The dine in area is spacious and can accommodate a sizable party. I got my favorite drink – Malt here. Server was courteous and remembered my order from an earlier phone call in the day. Food was good.

Food was incredible. The egusi and pounded yam was delicious, we asked the lady what she recommended, she ended up adding a little more food than we wanted but she was so sweet. Inside isn’t the fanciest place to sit and eat at but we’re definitely coming back.
