This black owned business offers several unique delicious flavors of fried foods, and home of the famous steak & shrimp pineapple bowl. And we can’t forget about those tasty thirst quenching drinks slush yo mouth & lemon crack slushies. Zin’s House is operated by two chefs; husband & wife duo whom pride themselves on making people happy by crafting handmade flavors in their food. They serve gourmet food late in the Ybor City District in downtown Tampa Bay, lighting up the streets with their food smells, lights and music. This food truck is highly recommended and was rated top 25 black owned restaurants in the Tampa Bay Area.

Zin’s House of Flavors totally rocked our taste buds! I mean, those chicken wings were on another level with that southern seasoning – a flavor explosion! And don’t even get me started on the corn and sausage plate; it was like a party in our mouths.
We rolled up there late at night, thinking it was a regular dine-in spot, but nope – car dining it was! Surprisingly, that turned out to be one of the coolest experiences. Shoutout to the staff for being super chill and caring.
So, we drove a good 20 minutes for this foodie adventure, and let me tell you, every minute on the road was absolutely worth it. Zin’s, you’ve got our five stars and then some!

I walked 30 minutes just to eat here and it was so worth it! The staff was so wonderful and kind, thank you to all of you! The shrimp were delicious! Well seasoned and crunchy even with the sauce. I got the “Pure Gold” sauce; it was sweet and tangy. Mixed with the shrimp it was divine! Definitely worth the walk!! Will be back again! Thank you so much!!!

Stopped at this spot after leaving an event and let me say everything was delicious. Got lemon crack pepper flavor, and it was phenomenal. When I say every single bite had flavor. Felt like I was in lemon pepper heaven. Will definitely go back next time I’m in Tampa

It was my first time at Zins and I was greeted nicely. I ordered the Hot honey 8 piece wings and 8 piece fried shrimp…when i tell you, it was SO DAMN GOOD!!! The owner even gave me a complimentary “Purple Urkle” drink. (Also I love the metal trays it comes in, so you can reheat your food if needed) I called them after tasting the food to let them know how great it is! And you have to try the sauce for the shrimp, it pairs so well! It’s a great spot for late night food! PRICEY! But worth it. I’m definitely coming back!

They were extremely nice. They had like 7different flavors of lemonade and kept my cup with refills and allowed me to try every flavor. I got lemon peper wings that had so much flavor in them I had to go back and get a second pan because me ,my hubby, and 2 younger kiddos finished the chicken before my oldest kiddo could get him some. Me and hubby are already talking about going back.

I wish I would have gotten a taste. I showed up at 4 a.m. and they had absolutely nothing no French fries no rice no nothing. Also no sign to tell people they did not have any more food and we’re not open any longer even though all the lights were on the music was running and what not. I waited at their window for 10 minutes before I decided to call since nobody came up to it. One must remember to take the good with the bad when dealing with black owned businesses, but I am still waiting on the good. I will continue to show up extra late towards closing so that they can become more professional or either buy more food or change their business hours.

Woooooooo! Baaaaby when I tell you that for it to be just 2 folks chefN in that truck, their food is hella good! I understand that it takes time because it’s made fresh to order but come to find out it’s worth the wait. Chicken was fried and seasoned to perfection, fries super crispy yet fluffy inside and the steak in that pineapple bowl OMG! Like butter. I will continue to show up and support this black owned business. The owners are super sweet with great customer service. A1

Very good food, only thing I noticed was the hot wasn’t hot. But kinda was like that everywhere in Florida so i don’t blame them but the guy was super cool that took Our order as well and I told him I’d due a review if I liked it so thumbs up.

Expect to spend $25 per person per meal here. Fried chicken is pretty good – very greasy but you know what you’re getting into (its all cooked in peanut oul). For the price, the size of the chicken was unacceptable and sooo small. Didn’t think they’d skimp on a $25 chicken basket. Fries were not good & undercooked, didnt finish. Wouldn’t come back. If I did, I’d probably get the shrimp.
