Went for a Sunday brunch on a rainy day, so our original reservation for patio seating was changed to the tavern area. They were nice enough to call me a half an hour before to ask whether that would be okay with me, which was awesome. This place was quite spacious inside, they have multiple rooms and seating areas, none of which were ADA-friendly (wheelchairs could maybe sit outdoor with the ramp area into the garden). They have a seasonal menu so items are constantly being changed around. The service was great, everyone was incredibly friendly and helped each other. The food was delicious!!

Fantastic brunch experience. Our server was great and did check on us at least once at each stage of the meal. Food came out fairly quick and everything was flavorful.

I drive past this restaurant every day on my way home and finally decided to treat myself. I chose to sit outside in the garden and was lucky enough to get the table right beside the pond. The garden is beautiful and was the perfect setting for dinner on a summer evening.

Atmosphere is great! The food is okay, super expensive, one time visit for sure or going on a date would be a perfect place! Seating outside definitely nicer chill vibes.

Pleasant place in the Maryland suburbs serving fun dining both inside and outside in an historic estate that was once a toll house in the late 1800s. The architecture of this place holds a lot of history and thus has an interesting and eclectic vibe throughout. One can enjoy dinner Al fresco in the manicured garden, or go down into the dungeons and dine pub style, or sit in any of the other expansive rooms where you can be surrounded in a setting different than most places. We didn’t eat much but what we had had it’s moments, but some did miss a couple beats. What did not work were the gazpacho soup and chimichuri skewers. The gazpacho was watery, seemed like it consisted of only blended tomatoes without any of the other required ingredients that make this summer soup a savory delight that packs flavor when done right. The chimichuri marinated steak skewers felt like it missed a final step in preparation. Really interesting since what did work, like the mussels in a rich tomato and garlic broth, and the fried green tomatoes were one of the best we’ve had ever. Same can be said with service and attention, very friendly and professional. We were treated extremely well.

Food was amazing. Highly recommend the ribeye and sweet potato gnocchi. Nice selection of beers. Cocktails were a little too experimental for us.

Outstanding food in a beautiful atmosphere. Highly recommend the seafood chowder to start and the swordfish piccata for a main course. All of the desserts were delicious.

I drive by this restaurant every day to get to work and have always been drawn in by the beautiful gardens and quaint architecture visible along Colesville Rd. Each year as my birthday present to myself, I enjoy making a solo date to a restaurant I’ve been wanting to try, so I was very excited for my outdoor reservation at Zinnia. Absolutely every aspect of my experience exceeded expectations. The atmosphere was beautiful and especially cozy after dark. My server, Raphael, was excellent and attentive, and his recommendations for starters and drinks did not disappoint. The beer-battered portobello starter was outstanding, and the portion was very well worth the price. I also enjoyed the swordfish piccata as my entrée. Alongside an incredibly delicious crème brûlée and espresso martini, this was one of the best meals I’ve had in recent memory. The restaurant and staff went above and beyond to make my experience special and enjoyable, and I can’t wait for my next visit!

There soft opening was phenomenal, I had a great time stopping by with my boyfriend! Their menu options were great and plenty. Given that we got to try most of the food I can confidently say that the food was exceptional. The servers were also very attentive to providing excellent customer service. If I could leave 10 stars I would!
