Food was good. Smaller portions than we are used too and bread could have made the difference. Service was just okay, so can’t give higher rating. Small place and people coming and going but there was a beer and wine bar.

Well, I stumbled across this little restaurant in downtown Lincolnton, and what a surprise! The restaurant was very clean and it had a great little bar area! Our waitress was awesome and told us a little bit about the history of the restaurant. There is a great variety of food on the lunch and dinner menu with a unique touch on many dishes.
I had a Philly Steak Wrap. Not just your average wrap at all! The wrap had steak, peppers, onions and mushrooms then somehow he crisped the whole wrap and then put cheese on top with lettuce and salsa and sour cream on the side. Good lord that was amazing!!!! Try the fries as well. Again, unique fries and unbelievable!
I highly recommend this restaurant! You will not be disappointed, and we will definitely be back!

Our sever was awesome. He was very kind and made sure everything was perfect for us. Food was great. Great way to celebrate our 26th wedding anniversary. We will definitely be back

The service was excellent. The food was good but a little overpriced. What I didn’t understand is they close at 9. We were eating at 8:15 and the manager was telling people trying to come eat that they were closed. She was not real nice about it. I’m not coming back because of this. Very disrespectful and it was only 2 tables of people. Why are you turning people away. Our waitress was excellent tho

Amazing menu, great location and our waitress was wonderful! My husband and I took our grandchildren for lunch. I got the special: Mediterranean Mahi and it was delicious! My grandson loved the kids chicken tenders and fries. I didn’t get pictures of my husband’s pork chop sandwich or my granddaughter’s Caesar salad but both were great. It was our first time but it definitely won’t be our last!

Stopped in for lunch on the way to South Mountains State Park. Fried deviled eggs were good, as well as the waffles and wings, and the fries that came with the wraps are seasoned and battered!

Zhay’s is an hidden gem in Lincolnton. The food was was amazing along with the staff, especially Nichole. The chef owns it and shows the love for his restaurant in his food. I would 10/10 recommend for anyone that is wanting fantastic food, relaxed environment, and excellent service.
