We had a wonderful experience at this Thai restaurant! The ambience was cozy and romantic, and the service was impressively quick. The menu offered a great variety of dishes — we especially loved the young coconut green curry. The staff were incredibly kind and even offered us some extra food to take home.

Gorgeous atmosphere. Soft shell blue crabs were delicious, salmon Basil-Curry was just a delight. I would probably chose a different protein than seafood as it was a bit bland. Nothing a little salt and siracha couldn’t fix. Everything tastes very fresh !!

City Thai is our favorite spot for dinner in our area. We have never had a dish we didn’t love. The pad see ew is incredible and the panang curry is one of the best we have ever had. The special oriental eggplant and Thai fried rice are our runners up for top dishes. And we love that they offer tofu AND soy curls. The staff are always so friendly and the service is so fast. It’s a great place with our very active toddler bc they get food out so quickly!

Service was quick. The place is warm and comfortable. The food is nothing special, at all! I have been 3 times since it opened years ago. Each time I say never again. Got desperate again but that was the last time. It is so disappointing. How does it stay in business?

We have enjoyed takeout from City Thai 2 times in the last 2 weeks and loved it both times. Fresh, hot food packed perfectly to go. Pad Thai, Pad Kee Mao and Kana Moo Grob were all delicious. Kana Moo Grob had crispy pork belly with Chinese broccoli. We will be back soon.

This has to be one of the top Thai restaurants in the Portland metro area. Incredibly kind of staff and a welcoming environment. The ingredients are the best quality and every dish I’ve had is incredible. Highly recommend City Thai if you’re in the area.
