Zest Kitchen & Bar offers a casual dining experience in the heart of downtown Eugene. Our cuisine features unique variety of flavors from the Mediterranean rim. Specialty menu items include the Zest Burger, Lamb Burger, and Wood Fired Pizzas. Guests can choose from a formal dining room, casual bar, and outdoor patio seating to enjoy their meals. The venue also features multiple indoor event spaces for weddings, business meetings, and special occasions. On site catering is also available. Our mission is to make great food at an affordable price, offer excellent service, and focus on sustainability. We source our ingredients from local suppliers whenever possible and highlight seasonal produce. We also with many non-profits groups.

Had a great experience at Zest! Cocktails were well made. I would definitely recommend the roasted cauliflower as an appetizer. We had a sausage pizza and the wild mushroom linguine. Both were excellent. Cozy dining in the heart of downtown. Our server was welcoming and attentive. Will return for sure!

Restaurant has a lot of tasty options on the menu. The drinks and cocktails were delicious. Some of the menu items were quite creative. There is a nice lounge area by the bar with a fireplace and cozy chairs. The main dining area is on the business formal side.

A hidden gem in Eugene; take the elevator, walk on in, say hello and make yourself at home. The rooftop seating is a perfect date spot, and always fun for guests visiting from out of town. The roasted cauliflower and dukkha appetizers are delicious, unique offerings. The burgers are fantastic, fries are CRISPY, and their seasonal pizza with an arugula salad is a great combination. Drinks are great, staff is friendly and knowledgeable, vibes are lovely, and it is spacious enough that I can actually have a comfortable seat on a Friday night. I reccomend it to all my friends looking for a new spot to try in town.

Love it here for a rooftop date night. We always sit outside and get apps and drinks. Lovely views, friendly and knowledgeable staff, delicious food and creative cocktails. Had the burger and a seasonal pizza last time and everything was perfect. Great place to take family for a view of downtown eugene. There’s lots of seating so on busy weekend nights we have always been seated and served quickly.

We arrived for our reservation and waited at the desk with a few other people.There was no one at the desk and no one to greet us. We waited a little longer, 5 minutes, 10 minutes…Finally I found someone who worked there (a server) who was deep in conversation with another server. He said, “we’ll be right there” and continued his conversation. Fifteen minutes after our reservation time we were seated and then ignored.
First impressions are critical. Even Olive Garden has someone at the front desk to greet you. There didn’t appear to be a host, or maitre d, , or floor manager of any kind running the place and it showed.
When someone finally approached our table we ordered everything from drinks to dinner as we were didn’t know when he’d be back. When our food came it was missing one dish and there was an additional salad that we hadn’t ordered.
Our appetizer, the pita bread and dip was good,
My Greek salad was nothing but chopped lettuce in a vinaigrette with a hint of feta cheese, minced tomato and olives.
Our bill included the salad that we hadn’t ordered.
Overall the experience felt chaotic like it was their first night opening.

Zest exceeded our expectations! My wife got a reservation, we parked in the overpark by the DAC skybridge, there was clear signage (thanks!) directing us to the Willamette street entrance. We sat in the quieter room with south facing windows, with a view of the kitchen and wood fire pizza oven. The garlic and cambozola with flatbread was melty, herby, and smoky. The sausage and mushroom pizza was perfectly cooked, very light char, pillowy, yeasty crust. The grilled salmon and asparagus with rice was bright, melty and crispy with great herb, citrus, and smoky flavor. The blueberry julep mocktail was tart and well balanced with fresh aromatic mint. Our server was chill, attentive, and fun. We will be back soon for more! It was pretty empty when we dined just after 6:30 Wednesday, the vibe was very classy, but relaxed and not too formal.

This place was great! Claire waited on us and she was very prompt, kind and had great recommendations. I would highly recommend Zest. And if you can time it right, the outdoor seating is a great place to watch the sunset!

Inattentive server the Paloma was more of a greyhound and not even a well made greyhound. The lamb chops were cooked appropriately, there was no flavor in them, the bed of rice or the roasted carrots. The most flavorful thing on that plate was the caramelized onion and blue cheese dressing. My S.O. had the risotto the flavor was decent least some salt added. The asparagus and risotto were overly chewy. Do not recommend
