This place has the best vegetarian dish I’ve ever had at a sushi restaurant. It’s a combination of fried veggies rolls, mushrooms, and a spicy orange sauce that I couldn’t get enough of. Their tofu appetizer was relatively tasteless without soy sauce, but good texture.

I just stopped by for a quick, late bite. The people who served me were attentive and friendly. The sushi was a bit pricey but also good quality. I was just expecting bigger rolls for the price. The ambience was okay. I’d definitely come back if in the area.

★★★★★ – An amazing experience at Zen Sushi
Visiting Zen Sushi in Dallas was an exceptional experience. From the moment I walked in, the cozy yet modern atmosphere won me over. The service was impeccable: the staff was attentive, friendly, and quick, always ready to offer great recommendations.

The sushi quality was outstanding. Every bite was fresh, beautifully presented, and bursting with flavor. I tried the salmon sashimi, the Zen special roll, and the tuna nigiri—everything was absolutely delicious! I also loved their drink selection, especially the sake, which paired perfectly with the meal.

It’s clear they pay attention to every detail, from the ingredients to the ambiance. Zen Sushi has definitely become my favorite spot for Japanese cuisine in Dallas. I highly recommend it—a true culinary gem!

I was pleasantly surprised by Zen, not a lot of people were in there however I can say coming from California the quality of fish was great for the price. Lauren did a fantastic job waiting on us since we were a table and not as the sushi bar but she made it feel like were right there in the mix!

This place is good, but not great. I feel this restaurant is a bit overpriced. Sushi of two different varieties will easily exceed $50 per person. People seeking for a convenient place to eat sushi should dine here.

This PLACE IS AMAZING!!!!
Listen to me very carefully we ordered like double this food but I kept forgetting to take pictures because it was so good!! We had to reorder the salmon sashimi because it was so good!!
It’s so incredibly clear the high standard the master chef has for the food here
The service was absolutely amazing !! When the wait staff got overwhelmed a little bit the bar staff helped us out!!
While it is definitely on the pricier side it’s definitely worth it for a special occasion night.
Definitely recommend the hot sake as well!

Not the biggest of sushi selection. They do have some unique items though. Sushi was very tasty and very fresh. Restaurant wasn’t busy at all on a Monday evening. Interesting to see they are only open for dinner. My only complaint would be they were short staffed so we had to wait a bit before our order was taken. Otherwise super friendly and helpful service. Definitely recommended.

They were very accommodating. The appetizers were great. We had the gyoza, chicken fried rice, and miso soup. We also had lots of sushi. The sushi was good, but it was literally falling apart the whole time. I feel like for the amount of money we dropped, they could have rolled the sushi tighter. The service was amazing otherwise.

I had high hopes, but service was really slow. 45 minutes until we got our food, had to remind waitress about drink, and we ended up not getting everything we ordered. The portions were tiny and the suahi rice too sweet. The Maki rolls… yeah that’s 2 rolls for $10-$14/each. Not worth it.

The food was good but the price didn’t really reflect the quality. Service was good and our waiter Joseph was knowledgeable about their menu. I expected the Tiger to be more.
