The ramen continues to be the star here — excellent broth with deep flavor and generous portions. The menu offers plenty of variety if you want to explore beyond ramen too with pho and rice bowls. Prices are a bit on the higher side compared to competing ramen spots in other neighborhoods.
Be wary of some the appetizers though, at least the smaller ones. You can tell they rely on some frozen / premade items which shows in certain dishes.
Staff is super friendly and makes the experience fun. Worth returning for the ramen and sticking to what they do best.

I’m only doing 3 starts because something needs to be addressed so I hope my review does not go un noticed. So food and service is 5 stars with out a doubt probably the best place for pho in Jacksonville HOWEVER they recently raised the pho price’s so that’s kinda annoying secondly the most important thing your facility roof is actively leaking and your ceiling tiles are growing black mold this needs to be addressed ASAP the tiles are right above your tables where people eat.

The amazing place has the best pho in town. I’ve tried so many dishes from this spot and they have all knocked it out of the park. wonderful service super attentive huge portions. And the restaurant is so cool inside, vibes are peak! Music is awesome. Please come here you won’t regret it!

I had one of the most pleasant dining experiences I’ve ever had at zen pho & noodles in Jacksonville, Florida. Our server, Chase, was a one-of-a-kind gentleman — kind, attentive, and full of great recommendations. The food was excellent, and the smooth jazz playing in the background made for a relaxing atmosphere. Everyone there was so friendly, and the environment overall was just amazing. I’d give it 120% and recommend it to absolutely anyone!

Love this place. The staff is incredibly sweet and quick!! They offer kid friendly pho at the right temperature. They have clean bathrooms. Clean atmosphere. What a gem on the west side of Jax. I always get the beef rib pho. So delicious. Soooooo delicious. Did I mention, it’s delicious? Shout out to Belle- she’s a sweetheart. So incredible. Keep it up Zen!!

I had the chicken pho it was good the broth was blander than I normally have. I was really impressed with the atmosphere they had jazz music playing. First time here since they have remodeled and maybe take a new ownership? All the service was nice.

The food was extremely bland. We got vegetarian pho. I understand vegetarian broth will not be quite as flavorful as meat based broth but this stuff was basically yellow tinted water. The whole dish just tasted off. I found a bug on a Lettuce leaf, which honestly, I could have been understanding about but the food just seemed very poorly put together. The most flavorful thing in my dish was the marinated egg but even that was just an almost hard “soft” boiled egg. If it wasn’t for us traveling all day and having to eat dinner in our hotel room I would have taken everything back. Staff seemed friendly enough. We got take out so didn’t interact much. They also don’t take orders over the phone (most places don’t these days so I get it.) I had to pay with my card which was a little disappointing. I wanted to order ahead and pay with cash. I wouldn’t recommend for vegans or vegetarians. Maybe their meat dishes are better.

So disappointed. We were here 2-14-26, Valentines Day. We went early evening thinking things would not be crazy yet. And techniquely they were not. The restaurant wasn’t even half full. But, with only two, in over their heads wait staff we waited 15 minutes and were never even acknowledged except to tell us to choose our own seating. As we waited we saw one server actually snap at a customer. The table where this customer was had 3 people and seemed to be absorbing all the attention of both servers. Neither server ever smiled and one them seemed put out by merely being there. When we told him were walking out because we had been there for 15 minutes with not even so much as an acknowledgement he argued with us saying others were their first and that was simple not true. No apology. We noticed another couple walk right after we did. We also noticed they were using paper towel dispenser paper towels for napkins on the tables kind of sign things might not being going well for this restaurant. Sad because it was a favorite. We ended up at Pho99 where wait staff were very pleasant. The service timely. The food was very good and they gave us a complimentary chocolate covered Strawberry.

Friday nights may appear to be busier. Unoccupied tables need cleaning, some sat dirtied for our whole stay.
Food was coming out fast, just not ours -waited quite a bit in between dishes.
Slower week day nights have been fantastic, as was Sunday afternoons.
Still our local favorite.
