Yum Yum This is hidden paradise five minutes off the 495. So convenient for hikers and bikers from the trail to take break. The burger is one of kind wonderful ingredients and texture. The soft buns are so easy to chew.

I’ve been here multiple times because the ppl I’m with always want to go and it’s close to where I live. However, I’m not sure if the people that work there are racist or what, but every time I go in there I get stared at like I’m about to stick up the place. Mind you I live in the area and was going to the bakery that was there before this company, so that’s wild to me.

Best service, amazing food! I loved my first experience at Bread and Water Company and cannot wait to check out the pentagon city location that’s closer to me.

Father’s Day picnic. I have had the chicken salad sandwich and it’s tasty. Today I ordered that and husband got Turkey … my entire sandwich fell apart, the bread was toasted, which I asked for, however it all fell into pieces so I could not eat it at all like a sandwich. I did not take a fork with me. Very disappointing. They also toasted my husbands sandwich which he did not ask for. I thought about going back to return it, and for $30 for two sandwiches!!! I probably should have, but it’s just a hassle.

Absolutely one of my favorite bakeries. I first became addicted to their ham and cheese croissants at the Burke farmers market I dont even know how many years ago. Well before the sgop opened. I looked forward to every Saturday morning and often went only for the croissants and their cranberry orange muffins (my other favorite bakery item). Eventually they got the space and opened the bakery but it wasn’t really close so I continued to wait for Saturdays until the day I went and they said they no longer could bring the coveted croissants to the market and I could only get them at the bakery. So I went to the bakery. And I discovered they made sandwiches and other things I hadnt seen at the farmers market. Well, that was the day I knew would be willing to become a fat kid. The pork butt sandwich became another obsession. Their soups are wonderful. I love that they serve simple salad with all the sandwiches. Even the breakfast sandwich. And the slice of apple and orange make me feel a little more balances when I bit into the think slice of bacon on my egg breakfast sandwich. And I haven’t even described the desserts….the cupcakes and cookies and….well, you get the picture. If this doesn’t make you want to go check this place out, your obviously a monster.
