The city of New Port Richey wanted an upscale restaurant for its up-and-coming and trendy downtown area. An ideal space was found but it required extensive renovation. After almost 2 years, the beautiful new Zen Kitchen & Bar was completed in September of 2023. It features a spectacular full liquor cocktail bar, a chef-hosted sushi bar, and an available private room for parties, events, and meetings. There is nothing like it on the west coast of Florida. Come experience Zen for yourself!

Zen Kitchen is absolutely incredible! The Sashimi Salad was unbelievably fresh and flavorful—every bite was perfection. And the Butter Chicken? Hands down one of the best I’ve ever had—rich, creamy, and perfectly spiced. The atmosphere was relaxing and the service was top notch. Can’t wait to come back!

If you are in New Port Richie Florida and looking for an Asian cuisine give Zen Kitchen a try. It’s a small town with more golf carts driving around than vehicles. After dinner, we walked to a cigar lounge. It would have been fun to spend more time walking the small town. They have a full bar with bar seating for dinner and booth and table seating. Our service was fantastic, and we were checked on often. The food was delicious. We ordered sushi rolls and dinner. The rolls were very good, we had Number 29 and Orlando Magic rolls. For dinner the Bibimbap bowl and Orange Zested Chicken, both were delicious. We had no complaints and will visit Zen Kitchen again.

What a great place to dine and enjoy some cold beverages. We sat at the bar. Stephanie was our bartender/server. She was covering the bar and a few tables. She did an outstanding job. Every drink and dish was excellent. FYI, they have some great specials at lunch. Can you say $6 spicy margaritas! My apologies on the pics. I didn’t get any pics of the cocktails and the food pics are taken after a few bites. We were thirsty and hungry.

For a Thursday night this place was popping. As you come in the bar was a show stopper. Service was excellent. Chef Victor came and spoke about some of his seasonal specials. Very high level for downtown New Port Richey. We had a great time!

The ambiance is chic with an Asian Fusion vibe that matches a variety of Asian menu items.The menu is a perfect blend of traditional Asian flavors, favorites, and contemporary culinary creativity. Each dish is beautifully presented, showcasing the freshness of the ingredients and the chef’s artistic touch. Our party all got to try every dish as we made it family style expierence.

Our visit to Zen Kitchen & Bar was an absolute delight! While I’m a huge fan of their Butter Chicken on the dinner menu, today we opted for a lighter lunch and it did not disappoint. We started with edamame and indulged in everything sushi, which was fresh and expertly crafted.
