Memorable beyond words!!!! The food is amazingly delicious!! The atmosphere is welcoming, and beautiful, the restaurant is clean and beautiful! Our server Jan was phenomenal, it was our first time dinning here at Zen Dumpling and Jan walked us through the process for ordering. Jan gave us great suggestions. I can’t say what’s my favorite because I loved everything I ate! I loved the sampler soup dumplings, they were full of so much flavor! I enjoyed the beef short ribs, green beans, the spicy cucumber salad and everything else. We will definitely be back!!!

We are so excited to have an excellent Dim Sum Dumpling place near us that reminds us of NYC Chinatown. They are very authentic here and the trend, presentation and especially taste is just as good as the bigger cities. Management and staff was very accommodating and this has been by far one of the best places Orlando has, we are very lucky to have them in Waterford Lakes. We will be returning customers and regulars. Highly recommend this place for a great dinijg experience. The food is amazing!

Simply incredible. If you haven’t been here, get here! Dumplings are stunning. Delicate, tender, flavorful. Made fresh as you order. The pork belly soup was soothing, comforting and succulent. The Karrage was perfection. This is a MUST experience.

I’ve been wanting to try this spot from a very long time but couldn’t because of the wait times , and the main reason for wanting to try this place was because there were no Din tai fung restaurants in Florida and zen dumplings menu seemed a little bit similar to that of Din tai fung . I would say except for their dumplings nothing else in the menu stands out . I ordered scallion pancake, chicken and mushroom dumpling, chicken karage, chicken XLB, chicken stir fried noodles and their taro boba milk tea . Extremely disappointed with the scallion pancakes, barely any scallion in it except for the garnish, it was more like a thick pan fried roti canai, the chicken stir fry noodles , again barely any chicken, extremely greasy and very doughy . Taro milk tea good , chicken karage good , their chicken and mushroom dumpling has carrots in it nice touch , soup dumplings were great , intentionally went in on a cold night so I could enjoy them thoroughly . They don’t have a lot of options for people who don’t eat red meat, wish they could include more chicken options. Hospitality was good ,the servers kept checking in every few minutes , lastly just don’t go after 9 because they close at 10 and start cleaning early, you just don’t want to be eating when they are actively taking out things of the table while you are eating . It’s a decent spot, no harm in trying out once .

My wife and I recently visited Zen Dumpling with a great friend, and from start to finish it was one of the best meals we’ve had in a long time. This place truly delivers on flavor, quality, and variety.
We began with the spicy cucumber salad and edamame, which turned out to be the ideal way to kick off the meal. Both appetizers were great and every dish that followed continued to impress.
The star of the show, of course, was the soup dumplings. Each variety we tried was outstanding but our favorite was the beef. All had delicate wrappers, deeply flavorful fillings, and soup inside that was rich and aromatic. It’s no surprise people rave about their dumplings and even happily wait to be seated here (usually at least a 20 minute wait).
We also enjoyed the General Tso’s and, but for me the standout was the Mongolian beef. This dish combined bold seasonings with tender, juicy beef in a way that felt both comforting and satisfying. Every bite was better than the last. Last but not least, the shrimp fried rice was rich and satisfying with perfectly cooked shrimp and just the right hint of savory goodness.
Service was warm and welcoming, and the atmosphere had a relaxed yet vibrant energy that made the evening feel special without being stuffy. It’s easy to see why this spot has become a favorite among locals and visitors alike.
If you’re a fan of flavorful Asian cuisine, especially excellent dumplings, this place deserves a top spot on your list. Highly recommend for date nights, dinner with friends, or any evening you want something truly delicious. We’ll be going back for sure.

Wow this place deserves its great reputation! We had heard great things about this place and decided to pop in on a Friday night. We had about an hour wait at 6PM and went next door for happy hour at the Social to wait. Their app kept us very informed about our place in line and even called to confirm our table was becoming available soon. The staff was super friendly and inviting. Our server Danny recommended something we were not even considering- the Zen Chili Wontons – which we HIGHLY recommend! They were a fantastic starter. Everything came out hot and fresh. Definitely a high paced meal with amazing flavor! The soup dumplings are a must, make sure you let them cool first! I can see what the hype is about, we will be back for sure!

First experience here and having dumplings. Everything was made fresh to order you can tell by the textures and flavor. I enjoyed everything but what I definitely would come back for is the egg rolls and Dan Dan noodles. The dumplings have so many options and fun to eat.
Nice clean and inviting on the inside customer service was attentive and professional. It can get very busy so I would advise to go early to experience and not feel rushed.

We had a fantastic meal here and were so impressed with the quality and freshness of the food!
We ordered several dishes, and everything tasted amazing, but the standouts were truly spectacular:
Soup Dumplings: Easily the best we’ve had in a long time—perfectly crafted and bursting with flavor.
Chili Wontons: Excellent! They had the ideal balance of spice and savory filling.
Ham Fried Rice: Freshly made and incredibly flavorful.

We visited Zen on a Friday night around 7pm. There was about a 45 minute wait to be seated, but once inside our server Kim quickly greeted us and took our drink order. We over ordered due to not being able to decide on a manageable amount of items. I would recommend ordering a few plates each as the food came out quickly. And you can always order more if you want. We had the Spicy Cucumber Salad, Sweet and Sour Baby Ribs, Stir Fried Green Beans, Beef Pancake Roll, Zen Chili Wontons, Braised Pork Belly Bun, Truffle Pork Soup Dumplings, Pan Fried Bao Bites and Beef and Broccoli. All of those were great, but the Pork Belly Bao Buns ans Green Beans were amazing. Highly recommended if you are in the area (or not, we drove 45 minutes!)

First timers! It was cold outside so we order entrees, Mongolian Beef and Zha Jiang noodles. Tasty but disappointed with the Zha Jiang. The dish noodles were not traditional thick and the sauce was not black. Tasted more like Dan Dan noodle sauce – which was still good. Mongolian beef was flavorful and my husband really liked it. Next time we will try the dumplings. Very popular on Friday lunch so we had a 20 minute wait. Looking forward to the new Melbourne location!
