Solid atmosphere, quiet and inviting. Music and TVs are low volume. Staff friends and quick. Food service is also timely.

The food? WOW. Tonkotsu, spicy miso. Extra Tamago, Chasu, and tasty appetizers.

Whether you’re time constrained by a working lunch or relaxed for a family dinner, you won’t be let down by this spot!

Our waiter was amazing, she went over and beyond for our family. The food was beautifully displayed, hot and delicious. The kids loved the chicken katu which we all ordered the same thing. You can choose the hotness of the curry as well. Nice spice make it best the early grey jello was wonderful to try made well worth.

This is a cute restaurant, it’s not too big. The staff was very friendly. I originally ordered ramen with green onions, eggs, pork, without corn. The ramen was very good. After a couple of minutes of eating the ramen, I found something I’m my food. It kinda looked liked a silver twist tie. I informed the server and they immediately told they would replace my food. So I got something different. They also took the ramen off my bill and they apologized as well. All was appreciated!!! I would definitely visit here again. Everyone makes mistakes and they handled the situation appropriately. I’m grateful for that.

We were going to order dessert but they were out of the almond jello. Hopefully we can try that next time.

Review is after 4th visit. Overall service is good. Can be busy out of no where so plan accordingly. The best thing about this place is the location as there is no other Ramen places for miles and if you are feeling the need for Ramen, this location is great for north Las Vegas area. Prices are way more reasonable than in Chinatown

Honestly, I’m just happy to have a good Japanese curry place near me that offers tofu curry! I lived and studied in Japan and have always missed カレーライス. But it’s typically made out of chicken/pork which I don’t do anymore. The curry rice is pretty comparable to the curry rice in Japan.

I can’t say the same about the naan. I would skip it. It tasted worse than store bought naan and you only get a few pieces for the price.

They do have コロッケ Korokke which is potato croquette. It was a bit cold but it was good! Just don’t see them often in Japanese dinning establishments that are not in Chinatown or the strip.

My husband got the spicy miso ramen with vegetable broth instead of the standard pork broth. He said he was expecting the noodles to be restaurant made but they tasted like they were instant noodles. He said the taste was overall ok.

The service was great.

The only comment my husband had since he was paying attention and I wasn’t was the selection of music. Some dirty language and bad words. It’s just a bit odd since the restaurant is a bit on the quieter side.

Used to go here a lot but recently they really fell off. Paid 15 dollars for a tiny amount of food and found a bug in my rice halfway through my meal. Service was okay but comparing my experience from before, the place really went downhill. Super disappointed.

I ordered the original curry for pickup, expecting more than just rice and curry sauce for $16. I saw the options to add additional items for more money. I’ve had curry in the states and abroad and have never experienced this. I won’t be returning.

Delicious! I had been wanting to try this place and finally went and it did not disappoint! I ordered the curry ramen with chicken (picture with red bowl) and it was delicious!! The service was great, very nice and attentive to the table, the place was nice and clean and the prices were good!

Unfortunately the worst curry I’ve had in Vegas. I expected much better from the reviews. The katsu was very dry, and the curry was lumpy. The flavor was lackluster and reminded me of instant curry. The cheese I paid two dollars for was in a two ounce cup and was barely any cheese, much less than I expected for the price, and it didn’t melt very well over the curry despite being hot. It’s generally overpriced. The option of a croquette was nice, though.

You can find much better curry in Spring Mountain or just about anywhere else, and for cheaper at that. I went out on a limb and decided to try a new place with good reviews, only to find it wasn’t all it was hyped up to be.

The aesthetic of Zen is minimalist. Clean, simple, hardwood floors. It’s a small open dining room. Order out seems to be popular.
But you miss the best part of Zen by not eating inside. The aromas are delicious. I can’t name all the wonderful spices I smell but maybe you can?
It’s not crowded yet so I also had the luxury of open space and a relaxing vibe.
The menu is divided into two. Ramens and Curry. Both are delicious. And in my opinion ridiculously reasonably priced. I had the Curry Ramen for 10.50
and I could not finish it. Curries are divided by spice levels. Did you know spice levels range from 1 to 100? I think they only use up to level 12.
The service is easy and pleasant because the menu is not complicated and the photos on the menu can assist you with your order. The location is near N 5th Street, parking is plenty. It’s down the street from the YMCA, perfect for after workout
food. Definitely my new regular go to place. Check it out before it gets too busy..
