Amazing place that we came across quite randomly but it was such a good choice! The food is truly amazing – we were welcomed by a great appetizer and juice to drink, then we had warm bread (amazing), eggplant paste, cauliflower duck soup (so delicious), camel kofta and date tarte – all remarkable! The atmosphere is so friendly and cozy, and Wahba was very kind, polite, and always smiling when serving! Definitely recommend

Nice views over Old Cairo; this restaurant is on the rooftop of a hotel. The lift is very small and only fits 3 people, so you’re better off climbing the stairs.
We had duck pie (460£), khshkhash kofta (410£), and also tried the frozen sahlab (110£)which is a local drink. Prices are reasonable for this kind of standard. The meat is good, especially the bbq and also served with a spicy dip which I enjoyed.
The service recovery was also good, as the manager apologised for the delay in our food, when we noticed other tables which ordered later having their food already. He gave us some free tea at the end of the meal.

A very beautiful place with amazing views and a lovely terrace. I visited during the day, and it was still stunning — I imagine the atmosphere at sunset must be incredible. It’s a bit pricey for Cairo, but worth it.
Great service and very attentive staff. Just keep in mind that taxes and service charges are not included in the menu prices.

Overall not a bad experience, but the menu is very limited and the food is average and overpriced. You basically pay for the view and the neatness of the hotel and restaurant.
Other restaurants in Cairo can offer the same experience, with a much higher variety and quality food at the same price.

Located in the heart of old town bazaar Khan il Khalil. The area is hectic but this place is beautiful with a nice rooftop garden overlooking the old town.

We had an excellent time at Zeeyara! The food was delicious- our favourites were the bulgur camel meatballs, Auzy Zeeyara and the sahlab drink. A special thanks to Mohammed Yasir, who made our visit even better with his helpful suggestions, great sense of humour and professional service. He even helped us choose the menu and took lovely photos. Truly impressive hospitality and superb views from the terrace seating area- highly recommended!

A rather pretentious place on the top floor of a building with an interesting interior, nice view from the terrace, polite staff, but, unfortunately, completely tasteless food. We ordered chicken mesahab, camel meat kofta, grape leaves, lentil soup, and mango fresh. As a result, only the fresh and soup were good. The chicken was tasteless, dry and cold, and the kofta was simply rubbery. In addition, waited about 40 minutes for our order. I absolutely see no merit in this place, the price-quality ratio is the lowest of all our experiences in restaurants in Cairo and Giza… In general, visiting is not recommended.

I loved this place. When we entered we were told it is fully booked although most tables were empty. When we were about to leave they kindly offered a table outside which is what we wanted. Entire night most tables outside were empty but may be this is normal in Egypt . Food was great and delicious. I had the minced meat and my wife had lamb with rice. Service was ok. Views were stunning and overall a pleasant experience
