Food was outstanding! Wonderful lite beet salad with avocado. Loved the hazelnuts on the salmon and risotto. Husband loved the baked chicken and noodles. Very clean and nice interior. Josh was an excellent server and the crème brûlée was the best I’ve had in years!

Overall, a decent experience.
Highlights: the Albert eggs benedict was delicious and the buttermilk pancake was very good (way better than the gingerbread and french toast in the Sarah Jane’s flight.)

Low points: the hot chocolate was really watered down. Also, I really worry about the sanitary conditions of this place. The bathroom, the dishwashing, and the pass where the finished food sits before being served is all right next to each other and it’s also the choke point where patrons walk through to get to the back area seating. The floor was also really slippery in this area.

American cafe with good variety of brunch options.
Good fresh delicious food with veggie options. Not typical American portion.
Service is a bit slow but responsive. It’s quiet but vibrant atmosphere. Good for couple, meetup and small gathering.
Hard to find parking but possible in around streets.
Indoor setting, limited outdoor setting but nice cozy patio in the end of cafe.
Not accessible for tight inside and steps to patio.

Lovely covered patio in the back. Excellent pate and very good pork chop with pears and coq au Vin. Will be back next time we’re in SF.

Zazie is hands down one of our Top 5 favorite restaurants in the San Francisco Bay Area, and every visit reminds me exactly why.

As someone who’s a big, big meat eater, I rarely go for a meatless option—but the lemon ricotta ravioli here is in a league of its own. Bright, creamy, and melt-in-your-mouth delicious, it’s one of the very few vegetarian dishes that leaves me totally satisfied without even thinking about meat. That says a lot.

Of course, when I do indulge my carnivorous side, the pork chop is absolutely divine—so tender it practically falls apart, and paired with buttery potatoes and the dreamiest mac and cheese. Rich, hearty, comforting. It’s the kind of dish you crave long after the meal is over.

The escargot deserves a special shoutout—it instantly transports me back to Paris. Delicately prepared, garlicky, and served with that unmistakable French flair. It’s the real deal.

And please, whatever you do, don’t skip dessert. The Chaud is an experience. Warm, gooey chocolate topped with toasted marshmallows—it’s like being wrapped in a hug that somehow takes you straight to Brussels. Yum, yum, YUM!

Zazie isn’t just a meal—it’s a mood, a memory, and a masterpiece every time. Whether you’re a die-hard meat lover or looking for something refined and soulful, this place delivers.

Cute place, great music. The pancake was good. The fruit was okay. The eggs were not good. Could have used salt and pepper. The sausage was not good. Very sweet. The server was not attentive at all. He came when we were done with our food. One of the worst severs I’ve ever experienced. Also he was very rude. When he asked about the eggs and sausage that we didn’t eat. We told him we did not like them. He asked why. When explained, he was like okay. Didn’t expect him to take it off the bill but very rude response.

Great Brunch and lovely atmosphere. You will need to wait for half an hour depending on what time of the day you go. The Portion is quite generous. I ordered only one pancake, but it was good for two to share as it is quite thick. There is no tip, but the price is slightly on a higher side. Good quality brunch. I really liked the salsa in the egg Benedict and the home fry was very good with well roasted sweet garlics.

Cozy atmosphere and not too loud, with efficient and friendly service. The French toast with caramelized peaches was incredible – well balanced and not too sweet. Came on a Saturday morning and waited ~20 min, totally worth it. Will definitely be back!

Stopped here for brunch with a friend and very much enjoyed the food and the service. I had the La Mer Benedict with two eggs which was a good portion and a tasty mimosa. The server was attentive and the food came out without much of a wait. The weather was nice enough to enjoy sitting outside.
