I’ve had a lot of so called ” Jamaican” food in Georgia and July 2025 will make 26 years. I was up late one night and I saw Zaza’s house cuisine, I got curious.

Verdict is in: YES — Zaza Jamaican Grill is scrumptious! ✨

I ordered the Jamaican pepper steak with macaroni & cheese, rice and peas, and yams. My mother had the brown stew chicken with collards and yams — everything was flavorful and satisfying.

Shout-out to Reggie, our server — absolutely top-notch. He was very accommodating and even switched my sides at the last minute with no issue. The bartender also showed excellent hospitality, which really elevated the experience.

While the mac & cheese wasn’t my favorite, the yams were on point and the jerk chicken egg rolls were — a must-try!

Great food, great service, and a welcoming vibe. Next time, I’ll have to meet Rodney, the owner!

We’ll definitely be back.

MTFKR! I DROVE 75 MINS IN TRAFFIC, ONCE I ARRIVED, I SPEND ANOTHER 20 MINS LOOKING FOR THIS “ZAZA HOUSE” THE LOCATION THE GPS TOOK ME TO SAID WINGS WITH A LIQUOR STORE NEXT TO IT. SO, I CALL “ZAZA HOUSE” TO SEE WHERE THE HECK THEY’RE LOCATED…HERE’S HOW THE CONVERSATION WENT :
ME: HELLO!
HIM: HELLO, HOW CAN I HELP YOU?
ME: HEY, I FOUND YOU ON GOOGLE AND IT TOOK ME TO A PLACE THAT SAYS WINGS AND IT HAS A LIQUOR STORE NEXT TO IT. IS THAT YOU WHERE THE WING SIGN IS AND WHY DOES IT SAY WINGS IF ITS A JAMAICAN SPOT?
HIM: OH! IT’S A VIRTUAL LOCATION. TELL ME WHAT YOU WANT AND WE’LL BRING IT TO YOU.
ME: I DON’T THINK SO, CLICK!

Now, in the midst of looking for their “virtual restaurant” I stumbled onto another Jamaican spot in a plaza on the same side of the street, just pass the fake ZAZA HOUSE location the GPS took me to. In that plaza, I found tucked at the very end, a Jamaican restaurant. I was starving and took a chance to try them out. I didn’t want to be disappointed again so I only order the peas & rice, cabbage, collards and sautéed fresh spinach. Well, you see my plate. I’ll try the meats next time, I’m stuffed. OH! The name of the spot is Rodney’s Jamaican Soul Food. If you ever stumble upon this review, thank you for calming me down from a bad experience. I’ll definitely be back.

Just pulled up to Zaza house because I had some late night munchies & didn’t want fast food. Best decision I’ve made all week. The food was incredible. The chef/owner was super cool. Portion size was great and price was on point too. Definitely recommend!!!

Alright my fellow Jamaicans in ATL — if you’ve been saying you can’t find real Jamaican food here, look no further. I found the spot! Zaza’s House is the truth

I got the oxtails and jerk chicken with mac & cheese, and let me tell you — it tastes like when your auntie who can really cook throws down on a Sunday. The seasoning? Authentic. The flavor? On point. Even the rice had that proper island taste. You can feel the love and the spice in every bite.

I Highly recommend. First Jamaican I know that’s a chef that can make some good Mac n cheese.

Hands-down, some of the best Jamaican food I’ve tasted in forever. The oxtails were perfectly seasoned. The cabbage was outstanding and the rice all just blended in well together. Definitely going back. Definitely my favorite restaurant. Thank you so much again!!!!

When I tell you, this has to be the best oxtail, rice and peas and cabbage I have ever had I am not joking. I was on my way back to work and I wanted some Jamaican food and I was looking at the reviews and this is a high review so I’m thinking I really wanna try this out and he had brought out the food and he said this is going to be the best oxtail that you ever had. I had eyebrows raised And was skeptical because not every place has good Jamaican food but when I tell you, the seasoning is spot on, it is so good. This is going to be my favorite Places to pick up Jamaica food

My brother and I tried Chef ASAP’s (Zaza House) for the first time yesterday, and we were not disappointed! The food was absolutely amazing and the customer service was perfect from start to finish.

We both ordered the jerk chicken plates — and wow! The chicken was full of flavor, tender, and perfectly seasoned. The rice and peas? Delicious. The cabbage? Delicious. The rum cake? Delicious! Every bite tasted fresh and authentic.

We’ve never been to Jamaica, but after this meal, I’m convinced we just had a real taste of it. Chef ASAP, you’ve got two new fans — we’ll definitely be back!

So the owner wanted me to provide my honest review so first thing first. Stating “I accept tips” When asking what’s the total I think we should get rid of that line . I got the oxtail mac & cheese and cabbage. The price was reasonable for oxtail so requesting a tip and that was my first time and I have not even tried the food didn’t really sit well with me. but now let’s go onto the food. First thing I noticed as I open it up is the oil to the point where I pulled over and had to pour it out, because the oil was excessive not like gravy but oil. out of all three of the items the mac & cheese was really good. 8/10. As far as the oxtail I had more fat than the meat , I’ve had way better. I definitely had a higher expectation but overall for everything 6/10. This rate is coming from somebody that is from New York with a Jamaican background and eat Jamaican food on a regular so I was expecting better.
