We are experienced fondue eaters. We make it at home several times a year and have eaten fondue out at a national chain multiple times.
This was our first experience eating fondue out at a non-franchised restaurant.
We were the only people in the restaurant when we visited and we chose the most expensive combination which included salad, appetizer, entree and desert. The cost was ~$100 for two people. All courses were excellently prepared, served hot and removed promptly when done.
Yes fondue takes time to cook at your table. Yes fondue is cooked by you and your table mate/s. That’s what makes it different and fun!
I read some other reviews and some complained about the amount of food for the price.
Again- This is 4 courses and a glass of Champaign for 2 people. The only dinner we had in the Lake Tahoe area that was less expensive was pizza!
The cheese fondue appetizer was the classic alpine melted cheese served with bread and fruit. The entree consisted of beef (fillet mignon), chicken breast and shrimp. I would guess about 3oz of each protein per person. Desert consisted of melted dark chocolate with pound cake, fruit and marshmallows. Yum!!
Keep in mind that this meal is cooked at your table, by you and the people in your party, in individually heated fondue pots.
Our only complaint is that it is almost impossible to see the restaurant from the road.

We chose a new experience for dinner after getting married. Loved it!! Absolutely amazing! The table next to us was 2 couples with one of them clearly on control freak-rage setting with YOUNG children and the father making a scene verbally berating and standing over a YOUNG child of about 4 for “touching my FAVORITE SHIRT!! NOW ITS RUINED!” Just flippering out. Pretty lame. The father seems abusive and grabbed up the young child and scurried off, no doubt to further abuse the child while the mother seemed pretty satisfied and smug. Wish the staff had stepped in and asked them to LEAVE. It was a massive disturbance in such a TINY setting for celebrations, not lunatics hell-bent on ruining everyone elses meal around them. They should have been asked to leave since they can’t behave appropriately in public.

So delicious and the service was excellent. We had the Alpine Fondue for Two, which came with bread and fruit to dip in the most delicious cheese. We also had the Fresh Veggies, which come with hot oil and batter, so you can make your own tempura, and it comes with several dipping sauces. The baked brie was phenomenal, the cauliflower soup was so delicious, and the proportions for everything were absolutely perfect. We were very full and happy with everything. The restaurant had a nice ambiance and was very clean.

We got the Fondue experience for 2. It was delicious. I’ve never had oil Fondue before. Really enjoyed the mix of oil and cheese fondues. It was fun to cook the battered meats and all the sauces. The only complaint was the bread was a bit stale. The waiter was very laid back but friendly.

Ordered the grand Fondue experience for two. The tomato soup was great and so was the Alpine cheese Fondue. There was a main course with a choice of either oil or broth to cook the veggies and proteins along with various sauces to dip them in. Overall, it was okay, it got a bit tiresome needing to set timers for how long to cook the meat. I’d probably prefer a KBBQ spot instead of the main course. The dessert was a chocolate Fondue with bread and assortment of fruits. I personally thought that the chocolate was a bit too bitter for my tastes, but if you’re a fan of dark chocolate you would definitely enjoy it. Overall, the place was decent and the staff was extremely friendly.

Great place. Love the atmosphere and their music choices. They are hospitable and provides great service. We’ve ordered fondue ‘The Works’ which includes all possible meat/ sea food/ veggies options and chocolate fondue for dessert. It was delicious! Adding the place to my top 5 list.

Coming from France I had great hope for this fondue restaurant, and it didn’t disappoint! The experience fondue choice was perfect, great cheese combination and the accompanying selection of meats, shrimps and vegs brought me back!
