I’ve been to Zaza Japan many times, and every time the food is consistently delicious, with the chicken hibachi combo being one of my absolute favorites, perfectly cooked, flavorful, and always satisfying. Their appetizers are also very tasty. The calamari and rock shrimp are crispy, fresh, and packed with great taste every time. I’ve also tried their thai iced tea, which is refreshing, though it could use a little more flavor to really stand out. Even with that small note, everything else is exceptional. The service is friendly, attentive, and makes the dining experience even better. Overall, I would recommend this spot, even if the food can get a bit pricey

I’ve been here a few times, there was enough seating for my party, the staff and chef’s here were nice and friendly. The service here was excellent, the atmosphere is very nice and clean.
Our chef’s were very talented and made our experience here very memorable.The chef’s were great entertainers.
The food was really good tasty and flavorful, also halal!! The steak was amazing, it was cooked exactly how we wanted it, the chicken, lamp chops and noodles were also great.

Beautiful and creative presentation. High quality and super fresh. Tons of options on the menu and they had an ipad with photos of each item which I love because it’s always to have a better idea of what you’re ordering. Beautiful atmosphere inside, excellent staff, open late until 10. There also is a whole hibachi side of the restaurant which I’m sure people love. Friendly workers who were all very polite and gave us amazing service!

You HAVE to try this spot! The service was incredible- they have COOKED sushi rolls on the menu which was perfect for me being pregnant and all- they are also HALAL certified! The hibachi dinner was amazing! Every single dish we ordered had so much flavor- cannot wait to visit again! Especially for their $11 martinis!

Excellent hibachi here! The food was so good. We had the combo with chicken, filet mignon, and shrimp with fried rice and the noodles. Everything was excellent – the noodles are probably better than the fried rice but you can’t go wrong with either. Our chef was nice and entertaining, the show was a bit more unique than others! Everything is Halal, except for the cocktails of course.

A halal hibachi place in New York. Best believe we will be back. Not only was it halal but it was great food for a great price. The steak was cooked exactly how we wanted it to be, and the drinks were all great (virgin drinks). The mango drink we had tasted like a mango shaved icy of sorts and we were just as impressed by the lemonades. This was over an hour of a drive and we loved every bit of it. The staff was very accommodating and the hibachi was an experience in itself. Glad to have taken the family here, it was a great experience and great food for a good price.
If I were to suggest anything, I would say that cleaning should not take place of the hibachi grill while people are still eating on the table. But it was almost closing time and the staff was accommodating. I wish I had an opportunity to take more pictures as the place is absolutely beautiful.

Amazing halal hibachi experience! Everything was so fresh and tasted great. The menu was huge with so many unique sushi options as well. Definitely worth coming back for a special occasion

Zaza Japan has become mine and my husbands go to spot! Their food is always 10/10 and you cannot beat their happy hour everyday from 3-7pm! I’m in love with the quality of the food and the plating of the food is beautiful too! The staff is extremely friendly and attentive and the drinks are tasty! They have hibachi tables as well great for celebrations or a night out with a fun twist!

This my second time here, but first under the new management. Both times it was someone’s birthday. Despite not having reservations on a Saturday night, our party of six was seated immediately and they brought our drink orders and appetizers promptly. The chef was fun and entertaining and did an excellent job. The halal angus steak was cooked perfectly, as was all of the rest of the food. The entire experience was fun, tasty and well worth the cost. Definitely will be coming again. Thank you Za Za!
