Stopped in for a quick bite and so happy we did! The crab cake appetizer was delicious. My mom had the Greek salad and I had the fried avocado chicken sandwich. First time here and the restaurant had a nice easy atmosphere and a friendly crowd. Our server Ben was on top of everything and we can’t wait to go back and try more!

Celebrated our Mom’s 90th birthday with family and a few of her friends at their favorite hangout spot! All the staff were so welcoming, hospitable, and patient with everyone in our group! The food was sensational, the service outstanding, and all the staff went out of their way to make this birthday celebration a special one! Thanks to you all very much!!

I would really like to come back for the crab fest. The wings were very good and so was the chicken salad melt. The salmon salad was also surprisingly fresh and delicious. We didn’t love the pimento cheeseburger and while the flavor of the Reuben (on a GF bun) was good and saucey, the corned beef was tough to chew (not slow cooked right).
Very nice service.

Great place to stop and have a drink, the fried oysters are the best I’ve ever had. No exaggeration and the beer is ice cold

High reviews on Google, maybe we went on an off night. EXTREMELY SLOW service. The guy who seated us would vanish, appear, and had an attitude. To be honest, Ben if the food was fantastic the attitude of the guy at the desk was a major “No.” I was tempted to leave without ordering…it was that bad.
Plenty of space in the restaurant; you didn’t feel like you were being crammed together.
When our order arrived the wrong fries were on the plate, the lady took our order back and the correct order came a minute later.
I was going to give 2 stars but this was the most forgettable meal so far. I would not return.

We came for all-you-can-eat crab and it was AWESOME. They were bringing out plates of crab legs right before we were finished with the previous plate without even asking. The service was exceptional, and the crab was high-quality. Sometimes when you get AYCE crab, your first two plates look good, and then the crab looks like it was zombified or something, NOT SO HERE. All of our plates were delicious, and the price was fair.
Special thanks to our server Duane who made the experience so smooth and enjoyable. He made sure we were taken care of and was funny to boot.

I came in for the all you can eat crab, and I was not disappointed. The food was great, crab cooked well and served quickly. It was easy to get the meat out, and the meat was not overcooked at all. My only complaint is that I couldn’t get extra hush puppies without paying for them, because they were delicious.

We ate at this restaurant for the all you can eat crab legs. This is not our first time eating here. We’ve actually eaten here four or five times and I’ve always been pleased about the food and service. Last night, however was a different story. The food was mediocre. The crab legs came out mostly cold. The butter was definitely cold. The server was good. We ordered a piece of the double chocolate cake they had, to share, and when it came out, I didn’t notice, but somebody sitting across the table, noticed the cake had mold on it, a large piece of mold.
We returned the cake to the server and she Took it back to the kitchen. As one of our party members was walking by. She noticed the owner and the bartender and a runner and another server laughing about the situation. So when we gave them the check we had attempted to discuss that with them and the owner said they weren’t laughing at the situation and that its very serious, etc. We just left we said it’s fine. Whatever we left.
As we’re leaving, the owner follows us outside and apologizes again and proceeds to tell me that he was laughing because even though he feeds his employees when they’re at work, whatever they wanna eat that the dishwasher sometimes eat off the plates when they come back and they said, hopefully he doesn’t try to eat the cake because it was moldy. You can imagine my shock and amazement that the owner of the restaurant was telling us that he has an employee who eats off of other people‘s plates when they send the food back to the kitchen for cleaning or whatever this is Highly unhygienic and unhealthy to anybody in the restaurant, especially if we don’t know that they’re not reserving the food. Like I said before this has always been a good place to eat for us but now we probably will not go back there ever again.

We never said anything that wasn’t true, and for you to turn the table on the customer and say we said things we did not is unethical and immoral behavior from a local business. Maybe you do not remember what you said, and I probably caught you off guard, but I remember the entirety of the conversation and what was said!

Unlimited crab legs drew us, and my wife was happy. She had at least 3 bowls. While she finished up I enjoyed the Apple Caramel dessert. That took a while to make so ensure you have time to wait. It was very good, the server said the owner makes them herself!

We spend many birthday, mother / Father days at the Main Street Cafe & Pub. You are more than welcome to dress up or remain flip flop casual. The menu can go from $$ to $$$$ depending on what you order. They have a wide variety of options for everyone but we have always gone for the AYCE Snow Crab Legs! They are large very fresh clusters of perfectly steamed goodness! We have had crablegs from Florida to Myrtle Beach and Main Street Cafe has remained our families favorite gathering spot for five years now. The staff never fails even when the little grand ones have drink disasters! When we come as a couple we can sit outside on their beautiful deck and enjoy a meal with our for baby while enjoying the relaxing sounds as well as atmosphere of the Lowcountry. On this particular visit it was our 20th Anniversary. The table was in a beautiful secluded spot with candles and rose petals. We of course ordered the AUCE Crablegs which comes with a fresh mixed lettuce side salad which comes with a large variety of side dressings to choose from. Than comes the crablegs. A seamlessly never ending cluster after cluster of heavenly crabby goodness. At the end of our meal we were treated to a sinfully delicious Caramel Cheesecake that we are informed is baked fresh daily! On the plate written in Carmel “Happy Anniversary” is written. The hostess and other staff made sure our anniversary was a very lovely one. Here is to many more celebrations at this fantastic hometown jewel of a restaurant!
