Ate lunch at Zaytoons in downtown Clinton with two others. The meals ordered were the Shish Teka ( lamb shish kebab) , Lamb and Beef Shawarma and Chicken Shawarma. The meals portions are big and they come with rice and a meza salad of hummus, taboulie and tourshi (pickled veggies) . My lamb was a little overcooked and dry. The other meals were fine. The place is clean but the bathrooms are a bit unkempt. This place would be ok to get some Middle Eastern food but I have had better.

Gotta say, this is my favorite mediterranean buffet so far. It’s not a bad price for the delicious homemade food. Staff is always really nice. And they have Italian ice cream outside their restaurant that is perfect for this weather.

We’ve been meaning to try Zaytoon for quite a while and finally got the chance. We tried the combo appetizer plate, chicken shawarma, and grilled shrimp dinner. Everything tasted great and there was plenty of food. Enough for leftovers for most people but what can I say. Will definitely return to sample some of the other options.

The food was Fantastic! The Restaurant was spotless. The ladies that were cooking were most pleasant. The prices are alright for that area. Well worth the trip and adventure. There is even a small tented area to dine at! Enjoy! See you there!
