And don’t give one on a 5 piece meal. That’s weird.
I had the Big Zax Snak. Chicken was very salty, the fries were also extremely salted. I wouldn’t recommend. However, service was good and the atmosphere is nice 🙂
Walking up, the front doors were dark outside. Lighting on and inside the building? Yes! Not at the exterior of the front door, so it looked closed. Made it harder to find.
No employees were behind the register, and no one was in the dining room.
I headed to the restroom to wash my hands. A male employee exited the restroom. He’d been standing at the sink.
I washed my hands and realized the employee must not have washed his! How did I come to this realization? The sink had a slow drain, and washing my hands caused the sink to fill up almost completely. The sink was empty as I approached. That could only mean he didn’t wash. Yuck!
I returned to the lobby with my boys to order. No employees were to be seen. 1 other customer had entered.
Finally, a different male employee showed up to help the first person at the register. As it was my turn, another employee appeared out of nowhere, and I could now hear at least 2 others in the back. I was mid-order, speaking to the cashier, when the magically appearing employee began interrupting and laughing. She was telling a joke about the drive-through. The cashier was kind and told me, “One second, please.” He then turned to her and said he was in the middle of helping a customer and to please not interrupt. As I paid my bill, another female employee jumped around the corner from the back and slam dunked a towel into a garbage can with a loud yell. Comical. But still, for not being around as we entered, there were suddenly SO MANY EMPLOYEES all acting in need of attention.
The food made us all sick that evening.
I can’t help but wonder if the guy who didn’t wash his hands was the same dude who cooked and fixed up our food. I never saw him again after he exited the restroom with unwashed hands.
YUCK!
The chicken is always really juicy, and the seasoning on the fries puts their fries way above Canes too
