Today was average to below average. The egg rolls were very disappointing. I started to ask for my money back but I didn’t. Why even serve these egg rolls. I’ve had the egg rolls before and they were good. These should’ve been wasted and not served.

Please pay attention to what you are being charged when ordering from this location as this is fraud, it may only be a small amount but it adds up per customer. Combo 8.99 and they as if you want to make it larger for 1.00 but actually charge you 1.49 and say Louisiana taxes are higher although it’s charged to the meal itself and the tax is separate! Manager proceeds to come to the window saying what’s the hold up…. Cheating customers is the hold up!!!!!

Today I visited Zaxbys in Ruston with my family and we ordered two Wings and Things meals with traditional wings. We were given the wrong order, and when we brought it to their attention, they refused to correct it. The second order of wings we received was very dry and tasted like they had been sitting out all day. We did not enjoy the food at all. Honestly, the Christmas music was the only pleasant part of our visit.

I had never had this place. Just so happen yo drive by it. It was actually very good. The cashier had a bit of an attitude because I guess I was taking to long to order. I had never been here and nobody else was in line. Then a younger group of college came in and they were loud and cursing and ended up dropping someone else’s drink on the floor.

Limiting red meat but found an excellent alternative for the summer, a Zaxby’s House Salad! The chicken can be fried or grilled. I started with fried, but now enjoy the chicken grilled with heavy charring . Delicious! Nutritious leafy greens. Sweet tomatoes. Fresh cucumbers and a bit of shredded cheese. To increase the protein I sometimes add a 99 cent can of beans ( pinto, kidney, black, etc. -drained). Or, I sometimes order a second fillet, again heavily charred, to be added for about $2.50 more. Either option keeps me full all day, with no need to grab a post-3:00 snack!
The staff is consistent. Very few turnovers…which is a definite plus for me! And they are kind, courteous, and work well as a team! As a result, my orders are accurate and timely. Thank you Ruston Zaxby’s!

This was only my second visit to a Zaxby’s, after trying one in Georgia years ago. The chicken, especially the wings, was very tasty and the fries and toast also were good. I also like that they have a Coca Cola Freestyle machine.
