I’ve never had an unpleasant experience at a Zaxby’s, until today at the drive thru window. In no way, shape or form should the person at the drive thru window have contact with customers. This is the second time my order has been wrong and the second time they has responded with a nasty attitude. I specifically asked large fries and drink with my meal. I get to the window and was handed a small drink. I told them I asked for a large. I was then told, “well, you didn’t pay for a large”. I again stated that’s what I asked for. The person at the window said, fine, and walked away. If they hadn’t already taken my debit card, I would have left. I have no words, except to say that I will never go to another Zaxby’s.

I ordered the Chicken Philly Sandwich. You can get the chicken grilled or fried. I ordered grilled because Philly sandwiches typically have grilled steak or chicken. Although I’m curious how the fired chicken tastes.
The bread was super soft. The chicken is in big chunks. It tasted marinated and there was plenty of it. My onions and peppers were over cooked but the flavor was good. I would’ve like a tad more cheese. The sandwich is a solid pick and I would recommend it.

The place is filthy and the workers are just laid back while the drink bar is absolutely disgusting and the trash in the lobby is running over onto the floor , tables have trash on multiple ones and , shows a major lack of cleanliness, shouldn’t be this way especially since there’s no rush , and this a place to dine in but who would want to dine in such a filthy establishment. My husband asked the manager on duty how often in the lobby area cleaned, and she responded throughout the day. However, with the way this place looks, it hasn’t been cleaned all day.

Food is always fresh and employees are friendly. Unlike other Zaxby’s in Madison County, this one always closes the dining room at 9pm. I’ve stopped coming here with large groups at 9pm because of this.

Please clean your drink machine! I’ve seen this twice before. Bathroom wasn’t too bad but you had paper towels but the machine didn’t work and no way to do it manually. Employee seemed overwhelmed or shy and didn’t speak much but she wasn’t rude. “Jennifer A” is on the receipt. Took over 15 minutes for a two-piece kids meal.

Ordered delivery–wont do that again! I got basically half of a salad, they left off sauces, and my salad didn’t have all of the ingredients. I don’t have time to drive up there and attempt to resolve it (hence needing delivery)… so I’m stuck paying $14 for a tiny, incomplete salad. In-house, I’ve had good experiences. I do wish the restaurant wasn’t so cold–its absolutely frigid! But I’ll only eat inside the dining room from now on.

This was my first visit to a Zaxby’s in several years.
We walked into the restaurant to order food to take home. It was not crowded. The restaurant appeared neat and clean. The man behind the counter was direct and to the point in answering a couple of questions.
I did not take much time to search the menu. We quickly settled on two small orders of chicken with french fries, bread, and iced tea. Had I taken more time to peruse, I would have noticed the smaller salads available. They were right there on the menu. I made a mental note to order one of them next time as it sounded healthier than fried chicken and french fries.
It was a short drive to our house. The food was still hot.
The chicken was cooked light brown. It had a good texture and flavor and cooked just as it should be: not too done so it did not get rubbery.
It came with a sauce for dipping. It was a little spicy and a good flavor. A little of the sauce went a long way for my particular taste preference. Many would probably prefer the chicken with the slightly nippy flavor.
The serving of fries in each order was very large. We did not eat them all. The fries were still hot and also cooked as they should be: not too done to start drying up and getting hard and crunchy.
The toast had a good buttery flavor. It had been grilled. Again, it was cooked to a light brown color so it was just right.
Our visit was a good experience. I intend to return to try the salad with chicken next time.

$30 for some burnt, dried out, sloppy and reheated rubbery food that tasted like ash and grease. Girl kept asking me to repeat myself, forgot my husbands food, and had a nasty attitude which after reading the other reviews, i can’t say I’m surprised. Literally fed my dogs the food, couldn’t eat it.

Had to wait for my order to be taken for roughly 10 minutes, I go to use the restroom after ordering and this is how the tissue was left. The drink machine was disgusting and the service overall wasn’t good. I waited an additional 20 minutes for my food.
