Anthony’s Pizza & Pasta

  4.1 – 481 reviews  $ • Pizza restaurant

Anthony’s Pizza & Pasta had a humble beginning back in 1984 on a busy street corner in downtown Denver Colorado. Our pizza by the slice quickly became a local favorite with the lunch crowd, and the rest was history. For over 35 years Anthony’s Pizza & Pasta has grown to serve our original pizza recipe across the front range. With simple, high-quality ingredients, we serve hand-crafted pizza, made from scratch daily. Choose from fresh toppings to customize your pizza, and while you’re here, enjoy crisp made-to-order salads, hot hero sandwiches, classic Italian pasta dishes, or even a mouth-watering appetizer or dessert. Order online for delivery and carryout or come dine-in with us and find out why we’re known as the OG of Colorado pizza.

Local counter-serve chain that’s a take-out/delivery staple for NY-style pies & other Italian eats.

I am from back east. This is the one and only pizza worth writing a review about in Denver. We ordered the Sicilian crust with pepperoni and sausage. One slice is a meal. Great pizza. Great service. I am Italian and very very picky about my pizza. This is the only pizza in the Denver metro area that made it.

Great crust. It bends in just the right places. We had a half and half pizza. Half cheese and half pepperoni, olive, and ricotta cheese. Most places here in Denver don’t offer ricotta. Service was amazing.

We used to love Anthony’s and were excited to bring our family there for dinner. We get there to realize the indoor dining has been shut down completely, so we just decide to order it to go. We sent our family back to our house to wait. We ordered a large pizza and cheese sticks. The food took 40 minutes and normally we would have been fine with that just because we love their pizza. We get home and the cheese sticks were broken, soggy and smooshed (the $11 cheese sticks mind you) you could get better cheese sticks at any fast food establishment. Our pizza was covered in grease and had no flavor. It was definitely a major let down and I feel like we all used the phrase “They used to be so good! I don’t know what happened” through the entire meal. Everyone ended up eating about half their slice before we just gave up and made sandwiches. A big waste of $45 that’s for sure.

Got takeout, they got the order wrong. I walked a mile to get to the restaurant, brought the food back to our hotel, and the order was entirely wrong. No silverware and no napkins. Called to ask what happened and if I could be comped the messed up dishes, but I was told to bring it back to prove it and that I was wrong, because there’s now way they undercooked the chicken parmesan and left chicken off of my wife’s salad. If $50 for pasta, spinach and a half a loaf of bread sounds good to you then try out Anthonys! Papa johns is great though right down the road.

This Anthony’s is smaller than the one I used to go to over off of 40th avenue. Not much room for dine in that’s okay the star of the show is the Pizza lot of fresh toppings the staff is very friendly and helpful. So it’s a win-win

They can’t tell the difference between orders under Mike or Michael. My wife and I ordered there july 6th. went to get it and they told me they didn’t have my order. Went home and argued with the wife to find out it was there. Girl on the phone had the balls to tell me, “You told us Mike and not Michael and that is why we couldn’t find your order. Keep in mind they never ask me for a phone number before sending me off. Last time we order there. They have now called us back and offered a Free Meal on them. I guess we can give them another try.

This is our favorite pizza place hands down. We have been ordering here for about 4 months now and we have not one complaint. The pizza delivery guy got stuck in front of our house in the snow so we helped him out . He told us he would put a credit on the account but we honestly forgot. We decided to call tonight which is about a month later the credit was still there!!! Like their customer service is perfection . Full of people who care and so nice. The food is great. I highly recommend .
