I’ve gone to this Zaxby’s so many times over the years and I’ve given them countless chances lately but it’s truly time to say don’t bother wasting your money. The service is wildly inconsistent, one day you can get your food quick and fresh and the next you’ll be sitting in the drive thru for 45 minutes for your mobile order they made 30 minutes ago that’s now cold and soggy because it takes 7 minutes to move two cars. The dining room is closed 75% percent of the time so don’t count on getting to just go inside and get your food faster. Half of the staff is too busy bickering in front of customers at the window on who gets to close than getting orders out. As a former food service worker, I have a lot of patience when it comes to restaurants but the lack of service has become absolutely embarrassing.

Drive thru order was lemon pepper wings traditional and when I got to eat them they were disappointing. it was like they were microwaved; hard on the outside and mushy on the inside kinda disgusting really however the lady at the window was nice. Wouldn’t eat there again if I were paid to.

I’ve never been the type to leave a bad review but I felt compelled to after attending. The lady taking our order through the drive thru was rude and we had trouble with our order being wrong. After waiting for roughly 45 minutes just to get our food, when it was given to us there was no apology for the wait or the bad service. We had no sauce nor napkins with our order. Our chicken reeked with an overwhelming smell of smoke. We tried it and it tasted burnt and smokey as well. We spent 70$ for all of our chicken to be inedible. I’m very surprised considering how highly people talk about zaxbys.

I decided to test the ‘express’ in express curbside pickup. After placing my order, I proudly parked in the designated spot, envisioning a swift, contactless handoff.
Thirty minutes later, my car had become my dining room. With no sign of my food, I abandoned the ‘curbside’ concept and went inside. When I announced my presence at the counter, the employee cheerfully informed me they had just started my order.
In total, I embarked on a 45-minute epic for food I could have just walked in and grabbed in five. I finally performed the ‘curbside’ delivery myself, from the counter back to my vehicle. Lesson learned: at this location, ‘curbside pickup’ is just the parking spot where you wait for your in-store order.

You would think with competition opening soon, this location would step their game up….but NOOOO! First, I drive ten minutes across to be forced to wait in a drive thru line for over 27 more minutes; only to get to the window and receive a screwed up order, all the while watching, the staff laugh at the SEVERAL errors they made!!! I ordered 3 drinks, with NO ICE. Yet, I receive ONE drink with ice!!! Then, I paid for SIX cookies, but have NOT the first one in our bag!! Then, when I ask for my items they act surprised. Now I received my other two drinks that were not filled properly, on top of being told that I would required to wait ANOTHER 17 minutes for more cookies to bake! Ooohhh NO MA’AM!!!!! Then when I asked for a refund, I get a dismissive, “Oh she’s gonna do it.” Again…NOT!! Sweetie, who is she? What’s her position? What amount am I to receive (although I can calculate it since I minored in economics, yet I want to be sure “she” and I are on the same page). I want to be sure of who I need to contact in case my money isn’t returned. Zaxby’s employees want customers to trust that they’ll return or give us what we’re due, yet we can’t even trust them to get our orders right!!!!

10/5/25 People waiting in line for over 20 minutes just to be told they aren’t taken any more orders because they close at 9pm which was in 10 minutes. That is not how a business is run. I hope the owner/manager is aware of this. I left my house which is not close to get food from here only to be turned away after sitting in line.
Just to update. Crew working said they close at 9PM but the business hours posted on the internet say 11PM and the hours posted on the door say till 10PM Sunday to Thursday. They also did not get my order right. Which I placed via the mobile app so there is no room for error and yet they still got it wrong.

I am giving one star but would give less. This was the dirtiest fast food restaurant I have ever entered. I would have turned around and walked out but we were there with others. The counters were sticky with food debris, crumbs all over the floor, drink dispenser was brown and disgusting, and trash cans were overflowing so much so that there was nowhere to place trash. The drive through line was backed around the building, people were waiting inside, and the employees were goofing off and on their phones in the back. One teenage boy was doing his job and he deserves a medal. I dont know his name but he was working the cash register last nigt around 8 pm (9/9). I also didn’t see a food grade posted. If I had been a state inspector, I am sure I would have shut this place down due to uncleanliness. My friend also began vomiting during the night from probable food poisoning. The franchise owner needs to see this. The manager and employees are keeping your establishment filthy and wasting your money.
