You have to go check out this place. It is in the cutest space. Mediterranean food at its best. So much better than all the rest. Truly Zatar is the best by far!!! Nice selection of food for Vegan and Vegetarians. Had the Vegan Kibbeh, Meat Kibbeh, Zatar Flatbread, Hamburgers, Fries, Babaganoush, Hummus, Grape Leaves and Israeli Salads.

Food could be considered as fine but it’s not for this cost. The plates are smaller than most places we visited in Boston and the USA. We do not recommend this place to travelers. It seems like it’s a store for deliveries.

Fantastic hidden gem. I was driving by for the last couple of months. Last night, we finally stopped and tried it out. We ordered takeout which was fantastic. A lot of flavor, very fresh. It’s a family operated business. Certainly a great new addition for Brookline. They also have 5 tables in case you want to eat directly there rather than having takeout.

It was delicious, the service was excellent and the deserts awesome.
I loved the pita with Schnitzel with the tasty Hummus.

Great addition to the village! We stopped in for take out and ordered the grilled chicken, schnitzel, and Zatar flatbread. Both of the plates came with pita bread. Everything was super fresh, clean, and tasty. The staff were lovely and welcoming. Eager to try more on the menu!

Very nice little restaurant in a great location. Pleasant interiors, clean restrooms. Fresh and tasty food, great service. The owner is an interesting man, multilingual, educated, lived in several countries, friendly and welcoming.

Ok. My last review I made on ZA’TAR, got a response from the owner that said it’s a fake review. Check my activity if you don’t believe I’m real. I don’t like putting my real name out there. The food is fine. Portions are regular sized. Not big not small. The online ordering is hard to tune what you want.. I think zatar has potential it just hasn’t been executed very well. Shoutout to the employees and service. At my visit I came late to pickup my order, and the staff were very pleasant about it. Bit pricey for what it is. I hope it stays, but it really needs a bit of a revamp. I saw they added more items, so maybe I’ll head back again and try something new. As long as my wallet can handle the $13 dollar chicken wings.
