Cool bar for Peyton Manning fans! Lots of memorabilia and Tennessee items to take in while having an adult beverage. However, if you’re not a Peyton or Tennessee fan, I’m not sure how much appeal this bar has otherwise. Has a long bar, but not the best seating arrangement overall and is pretty dark, so I didn’t love the atmosphere. Again, it’s cool to check out and see Peyton‘s own little VIP seating area on one end (that you can rent out for private use) but I don’t think this is the kind of bar you’d want to hang out in that much. Parking is also tough to try to come to this bar since it’s inside the Graduate Hotel and there is not any public parking so to speak. Your best bet is to try to find a street spot nearby, but that isn’t easy to do. I’m sure this place is banging on game days and if you’re lucky, you might even see Peyton there. Pro tip: you can enter the bar from the back side of the hotel on Lake Ave and park there on the street

We were the only people in the restaurant. When we sat at the bar there was not a bartender. After a couple of minutes when we were ready to leave a bartender appeared. We asked for a couple of drinks and the bartender asked for our ID. My Wife and I are 63. The bartender told us it was State
law which is interesting we have been here before and have not been asked for ID and have did not get carded at 2 other restaurants nearby. Luckily we were staying at the Graduate and my wife had to go upstairs to get her ID. The bartender seemed to be undertrained and when the bill came which was $45.47 I paid with cash. I received back $54.00. When I mention that I did not receive the change the bartender and manager said they don’t give change and round up/down. When I tried to say that this transaction should round up in my favor they got very defensive and said “ so I can go to the office and get your pennies “. Umm …I think they need to take a 101 finance class at Haslam! Use your credit card which will cost them more for the expensive drinks.

The cheese bings were amazing here and didn’t really even need the marinara or ranch. The Tennessee tiki and Smokey’s salute were both pretty good. The chicken parm sandwich wasn’t good at all, and the fries weren’t either.

Saloon 16 is a great place to hang out for the Vols game .. I hate to say this bc I’ve been in the service industry. With that said I understand the hectic environment, however we were ordering respectfully, we just felt that after a certain time frame our service became sub par. We just wished our service continued as our night continued.

Over priced drinks bad! Come on way overpriced! Bartender needs to communicate. A drink was $40 each is Rediculous. Service was ok and never said a thing to us.

Love this place… tucked away in the middle of campus. A game-day destination for any sport. Nostalgia, memorabilia, an amazing bar selection, Peyton’s favorite college foods on the menu, something for every Vol fan! Check it out!

My husband and I stopped in right when they opened before a the UT football home opener Morgan was our bartender and we couldn’t have asked for better. So friendly and enjoyable to talk with. Made it such a great start to our game day.
