Had a crew dinner at Zapata Tocos. It was decent. Not a very big place, accommodates 50 to 75 people. Waitress was nice and didn’t make many mistakes with our party of 10. My food did come out cold and I asked her to reheat it. Other that that, everything was good.

Came here for birthday lunch. The service was warm & friendly, fajitas-fantastic, skinny margarita was delicious, & to top it off-the complimentary flan was, by far, the best I’ve ever had! Also a great selection of mezcals & tequilas!

We just left 5 minutes ago and I can’t say more great things about this place! The El Mejor Margarita was delicious, the Flor de Pasion drink was out of this world! The salsa had the most perfect level of deliciousness and spice. I ordered the Chile Rellano and couldn’t have been happier with the batter, filling and sauces… The black beans and rice were also very good. The hubs had the Sopes, one mushroom, one beef, and one chorizo and they were super yummy; his fav was the chorizo. And it was just a lovely ambiance and spectacular dining experience. 10/10 would recommend! Ty Zapata!

Such a great spot! It’s small but packs a punch. I got the enchiladas and they were so delicious!! My husband got sopas and I was eating them more then he was, I loved it. We got some margaritas which were fairly tasty. We tried the papa’s appetizer and it was really good also. I definitely recommend this place if you’ve never been. Our server was also super friendly, he checked on us regularly and made our experience even better.

Zapata was lovely experience. The staff took great care of us. The atmosphere is very relaxed. It’s a great place to get great food, not feel rushed and relax. Bonus points in my book for having Modelo and Dos Equis Amber on draught. I would definitely go back again!

The food and service just aren’t consistent. On some days, everything tastes incredible, but other times it’s pretty underwhelming. The carne asada tacos especially aren’t what they used to be – they used to be so flavorful, the only tacos my kids would eat. Now, they won’t even touch them. I will say, for the most part, the chicken verde enchilada, is always good.

House Music playing sounds good. Cool vibes, free parking. Empty Wednesday, surprising for such a nice place. Ordered different items. Lamb Taco only comes with meat, cilantro and radish. Tasty though but kinda plain. I ordered grilled onions and they gave me a newborn’s portion. The charro beans are delicious. Not sure if he mentioned pork in them. Good drinks. Average restroom. Jalapeños were so small not worth the price. Snapper was a fillet not whole, menu does not clarify. My wife thought it wasn’t Snapper but I can’t tell. Could use more seasoning. Rice was good. Salad had cheese & I didn’t know before ordering, it was basic. Guac wasn’t all that. Chips and Slasa delicious. Menu decent. I could come here again and find something good and I know what not to get. Young server couldn’t explain some options I wanted to try. Nice place though. Taste for yourself

Good place. I have to give them credit on the margarita, it was as good as I can make. The chips and dip were good. The fajita was good, served stew style not sizzling, and it was fine. Our waiter Kai was nice. The only knock would be that they need to trim their steak better, both my wife and I had pieces we had to spit out. The inside was comfortable enough, we sat at a half both table, though I prefer full booths. I’d go back, and I’d hope to see the meat quality improved.

Good Mexican food. Stopped in at 6 on a Saturday evening and they were busy. They were out of some of the beers we wanted. Servers were attentive. Food was generally flavorful, it was presented well, it was more than enough for a serving. The value paid was great for the amount of and quality of food. Parking in downtown Norcross is not always available.
