Zapata is a perfect lunch spot to quickly stop bye and have a delicious meal. It’s ended up eating the Birria quesadilla and it was good! The atmosphere is nice and inviting. The staff is nice and easy to work with. Highly recommend if you need a break from the other big Mexican chain restraints for some authentic Mexican food!

The biggest tacos I have ever seen!!! Most places you have to order like 4 or more tacos to fill a plate… this place… it’s 2!!! The tacos are so full of meat that I have to ask for extra tortillas just so I can make them not so full .. with what falls out you have enough meat to make another larger than you need taco! Great price and better food!!

The first time I came here, I had just gotten surgery and wanted to try this place out. The moment I finished my food, I told my bank account, “you’re lucky we live on the exact opposite side of town.”
This is my 1/2 go-to places for lengua-anything: tacos, burritos, [quesadillas if I could eat cheese.] The serving sizes are solid, and you can taste the freshness in every ingredient used.
I’ve had their lengua, buche, pastor, tripe, and “Zapata” (carne asada with cactus) in burritos, tacos, and on fries (as lengua fries.) So my review is based on these items.
Now, depending on when you come in, they will only have food that’s tastes good, (like the Pastor and Tripe,) and food that tastes great (like the Lengua, Buche, and Carne Asada.)
There isn’t an option for bad food, irregardless of the day or time. In fact, they are so bad at making bad food, that even the salsa bar tastes great. In other words, I have never had a bad meal from here.
On top of that, the customer service is always great.
But, if there’s a lady working in the front, you’re about to have some of the best food you can find in this city. Prior to coming here, I had no idea that pigs had stomachs that could also taste like bacon. Nor had I had that (Buche) before.
Last but not least, if you have dietary restrictions, ask if they can sub an ingredient for another. I currently can’t eat beans due to a stomach issue, and rarely eat dairy. And every single time I’ve made a request, they have accommodated it.

This place has turned into such a disappointment. I don’t know if I’ve just been getting real unlucky, but I started going here around 3-4 years ago and it was fire; one of the best Mexican restaurants I’ve ever been to. Regardless of what I got, the food was always on point. I started telling all of my coworkers and friends to try it. Then, they started opening up more locations: first on Dublin and then near Northgate.
I started going to the one on Dublin because it’s closer to where I used to live and noticed that it wasn’t as good as the original Delmonico location. After a year or so I told myself I would only go to the Delmonico location because it was the best.
I started going back there and noticed it wasn’t the same. I went back to the Delmonico location probably 4 or 5 more times to give it a fair shot during different times of the day and each time it was disappointing. The final time, I went there about half an hour after opening and I was served disgusting meats that tasted like they were warmed up from the previous day. The carnitas I had was in huge chunks, like the cook was so lazy they couldn’t be bothered to rip it apart. The guacamole also had a weird taste to it. The quesabirria taco was the only decent thing, although the meat was a little dry.

Quick service, quaint taco shop vibes, and delicious food. Go for a quick bite, stay for a chat with friends. Excellent little salsa bar with a few excellent choices. Prices are reasonable, and the selection is varied. They also have burritos and bowls, which looked good and apparently we’re pretty tasty.

Fantastic food! The chile rellano was made well. Great selection of sauces and margaritas honestly loved all the meats available for tacos. We chose stomach, tongue, and intestine (my fav). All were delicious. The horchata is instant which i wasn’t sure about but it was pretty good. Friend got a chicken bowl.

I came for lunch the first time with co-workers and then a week later went with my husband because I was so impressed! Husband loves the burritos (beef) and gets a side of queso to pour over. He can barely eat the whole thing. I get the steak rice bowl and it’s two meals for me. The chips are not overly thick which I love. Guac is definitely homemade and huge portions. The queso is on the thinner side but has a nice spice to it. My last side of guac had big chunks of avocado (which I love- I used leftovers for avocado toast the next day). You order at the counter and then they bring it to your table. Plenty of space in the restaurant so you don’t feel squeezed in. Large booths as well as tables. No pictures currently because I forget a lot of the time.

Their quesadillas are to die for. I get the birria quesadilla and that thing is not only massive but massively delicious. The meat is tender, the cheese is melty and the three pieces it comes in are huge. It comes with a healthy scoop of guacamole and sour cream and oh my god. I will 10000% be back here and making my heart so happy with their meals.

It’s okay
No real service here other than the delivery of your meal everything is a self serve type of deal.
The atmosphere is
Let’s say it could be nicer and leave it at that
A couple of nice art pieces and I did like the name carvings on all the seats
The food was kinda commercialized and not the full flavor grub I’m used to so I’m going to keep looking for that gooooood Mexican food on this side of town.

Tacos with a lot of meat. But without taste-blande- is not a carne azada is just cooked. Order 6 tacos azada didn’t have limon , radish, onion salted, Jamaica was not natural. Just powdered . Disappointed! Before their tacos were very good.
