This is our new favorite date night spot. Healthier option that were very tasty. We both ordered yellow curry bowls. One with brown rice and the other with noodles. We also got some pot stickers. Staff were friendly. The dining area needed a little help. Only reason atmosphere is not five star.

*6/11/19 Update: I visited this location again today and got the soup. It was suuuper yummy! So many noodles, I had to have my son finish them for me! Great broth flavor and the sweet corn in there is so yummy and adds great texture! LOVE!! Also love the staff members at this place. They are all great!
We tried this location out today and had an awesome experience! The staff were kind and accommodating (I always ask for tons of cilantro, lol), and let us try the curry sauce to make sure we would like it prior to ordering. In case anyone is wondering, it’s quite sweet with just a tad of heat. My husband got the rice noodles with chicken, curry, corn, and veggies, and he LOVED it! I got a rice bowl with chicken, carrots, and cilantro with teriyaki sauce and loved mine too! The chicken was tasty and nice and lean, which is a huge deal to me, and the portion sizes are amazing for what you pay! We will definitely be going back! Yum!

I went to the Zao in South Jordan today for lunch. I ordered the teriyaki chicken bowl and Thai mango drink. The portion size is really good for the price and they taste so fresh and yummy. The manager was super nice and helpful as well. Would definitely recommend!

Unfortunately today I was surprised by an employee with a super bad service, ordering my favorite food and always choosing Zao over other restaurants and I was very surprised that my food was not given to me in the right amount and a super small portion which I asked for the largest portion with the largest bowl and more expensive. Very bad example that person who served me if it were up to me I would completely forget about this place, Apart from the employee with her bad answers. Think about it before buying

We love their chicken bowls, half rice half noodles (husband gets the yakisoba noodles for an upcharge; I just do the rice noodles.) Food always tastes fresh and love the flavors. I love the yellow curry sauce mixed with the chili lemongrass. Their sesame dressing is also delicious.

First visit, great atmosphere, quick counter service, roomy dining area. Real food. I enjoyed my food at a small table with a window view while I read a book.
Both the chicken salad I ate there and the meatball bahn mi with a side of guacamame, I took home for a later meal, were delicious.
