Lazy Oaks hosted one of my company’s post work social events. They reserved us a few tables and prepared food for us that was actually surprisingly good. We were all expecting bar food quality but everything was really good especially the chicken tacos and fruit salad. Major, major props on them for killing the hosting of our event.

The bar is decently sized especially when you factor the inside portion and outside portion. However the bathrooms are tiny with only 1 urinal and 1 stall. There was constantly a line when we visited even on a Thursday night. Parking is also very limited. The lot is very small and does not fit many cars.

If you’re looking for a chill place to hang and grab a beer or two with some friends and watch sports either inside or outside, this will definitely be your kind of place.

Hard to find a good turkey burger. This one is great. Truffle fries were seasoned well and addicting as well. Service was great and fast. Will definitely be back to try the wings.

Almost become a regular for my 3 nights stay in HTX. Love the garden sitting; you can also order at the table with QR.
N1 – Wings are tasty, carne asada tacos were my favorites but the turkey one is a for me (sorry!)
N2 – fries are crunchy; great for nimble to watch a game and enjoy your beer. (Also trivia – Wednesday night)

Wings were bussin, service was ok, I asked for fries with my wings and they didn’t bring them out. But I shared with my husband who got the lazy burger. I think it’s rare when a bar has good food and this bar has GOOD FOOD. Definitely going back and the beer?? Cold, crisp and in a nice glass 🙂

Great casual/local place overall with good selection of drinks. However, I have to take away one star because of the parking which can be a hassle even during weekdays and unexpected hours, and also the quality of food which can be a bit better. It is reasonable for a bar, but I personally believe it could be a tad better. Service is usually very friendly and there is plenty of indoor and outdoor seats.

Great spot to relax with friends and enjoy the weather. Lazy Oaks has a laid-back vibe, solid selection of beers, and surprisingly good food (the burgers are ). Plenty of outdoor seating, dog-friendly, and the staff is always friendly. Perfect place for a casual hangout or watching the game. Definitely one of my go-to spots in the area.

Not my usual spot, but definitely a pleasant surprise! We stopped by after Game On and got there around 9:30 p.m. as first-timers. There’s plenty of seating inside, and the aroma when you walk in instantly lets you know the food’s about to be good. I scanned the barcode at the table to order since the kitchen closes at 10, and went with the Thai wings, fries, and blue cheese — amazing! Everyone at our table enjoyed their food, and the servers were super chill and friendly. Parking could’ve been a little better, but overall it’s a great after-spot!

My wife and I were looking for a place to grab a bite for dinner and instead of the usual places we decided to go here instead, the place was wide open with plenty of seating. You order your food and drinks with the bartender then they bring it out to you. I was very impressed with the selection of beer on tap and the food was amazing. My only gripe is that I wish the beer was a bit colder, they were cold but not as cold as I’d expected. Great place and friendly atmosphere, definitely be back.

They were out of more interesting draft brews and no flights so not too much for us here (we are a bit jaded I guess). The service was also a bit slow and not terribly friendly. The atmosphere is definitely a “converted 7-11” vibe so visiting in the day time doesn’t do the place any favors. That said we liked the pretzel and it does look like the burger special might be worth a try.

Some of the best bar food I’ve had in Houston! Had to double check with my server, but the food is indeed made from scratch. They have an amazing burger reminiscent of an In N Out animal style. The fried chicken sandwich is also awesome! And the fries!! I’ve also tried some of their special dishes and was really impressed by the schnitzel. The service here is so friendly, attentive and unpretentious. Plenty of seating, televisions, open space (felt extremely safe there even sitting inside as there are large, open garage doors). They’re also dog friendly! A great neighborhood spot. They have overflow parking in the lot across the street.
