Asked Max to hook it up with his favorite sauces and he excelled! Fire green curry with that aioli. Super good for a first time visit.
Super nice dude too.

Very cool place with a really nice atmosphere. Staff was great and love the concept. I unfortunately did not care for the food. I think it was cooked well, presentation was nice, but the flavor did nothing for me. It could just be my taste buds, but I tried half chicken and half steak and didn’t like either one. Avocado was great, corn and broccoli were great, just didn’t like the meat flavors. I’m sure many others might. I do very much love their gluten free options on almost everything.

Zao Asian Fusion: A Flavorful Gem in the Heart of Parker

Tucked within the bustling mega plaza shared with Trader Joe’s and Costco in Parker, Colorado, Zao Asian Fusion stands out as a true culinary gem—an inviting space where vibrant flavors meet warm hospitality in a setting that’s as thoughtfully crafted as the food itself.

From the moment we approached the door, we were greeted with a smile by Tate, a recent transplant from Texas whose upbeat demeanor and genuine warmth instantly set a welcoming tone. Though new to the team, Tate already feels like part of the restaurant’s fabric, adding an extra spark to a place already known for its top-tier service and upbeat energy.

Inside, Zao immediately impresses with its clean, modern interior. The spacious dining area, elegantly furnished with polished wooden tables, offers an atmosphere that is both stylish and unpretentious. The air is filled with the aroma of freshly prepared ingredients, the kind of scent that hints at real cooking—no shortcuts, no reheated pre-packaged meals. Thanks to smart, efficient ventilation, the kitchen’s fragrant output enhances the experience without overwhelming the senses.

The open-concept kitchen allows diners to witness the assembly of their dishes in real time. Zao’s well-balanced menu is a masterclass in customizable Asian fusion. Guests can choose from a vibrant array of vegetables, proteins ranging from tofu to grilled steak, and a thoughtful selection of sauces and carbs to round out each bowl or plate. The result is a meal that feels fresh, nourishing, and perfectly tailored to the guest’s palate.

On hand to guide you through the options is a team that is clearly passionate about what they do. Danilo, one of Zao’s standout staff members, offers personalized recommendations with a smile, ensuring each diner feels cared for and confident in their choices.
Zao has not only been a place for delicious, flavorful meals but also a hub of warmth and welcome. One of its newest team members, Anand, originally from Hong Kong, has called Colorado home for the past seven years. With a calm presence and genuine appreciation for good food and good people, Anand has found in Zao more than just a position—it’s a community. He feels truly embraced by the Zao family, grateful to be part of something that feels both grounding and joyful.

Right at the register, we’re greeted by Addy, a Colorado native whose bright smile sets the tone for every visit. Kind and attentive, she makes you feel at home the moment you walk in. She shares that the best part of her job is meeting amazing customers who keep coming back for the consistently delicious food—and it shows. Her warm energy is a key ingredient in what makes Zao feel special.

Beyond the food, Zao’s beverage bar offers more than the standard fare. Creative, refreshing drinks made with exotic fruits provide a fun and flavorful way to cool off or complement the meal—an appreciated touch that elevates the fast-casual experience.

And there’s more reason to visit this month: Zao is proudly celebrating its second anniversary, and rewards members are being treated to exclusive specials and deals—a fitting tribute to two years of excellence in service and taste.

In a competitive dining landscape, Zao Asian Fusion stands apart by staying true to what matters: genuine hospitality, fresh ingredients, and a dining experience that consistently delivers. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, Zao is a stop worth making—delicious, dependable, and always welcoming.

9/29/24-This place is horrible for so many different reasons. First off while we were eating one of the employees was spraying window cleaner on the glass over the food with the particles going backwards towards the food. This is totally unsafe for the food and exposes people to ingesting chemicals. The worker at the register was rude. They do not clearly everywhere mark that there is an up charge for the yakisoba noodles. They only have it marked in one place under “extras” making you think that the upcharge is for if you order extra noodles. This is a highly misleading sales tactic. The employees also don’t tell you about the extra charge when you tell them you want it like other businesses do as part of their basic customer service. So once again misleading. The food quality was below average as a whole. They bowls were about average. The chips and guacamole was a rip off. They just give you a little sauce cup of guacamole for te nearly $5. It was super bland. Even though I saw small onions in it they didnothing to help the flavor and there was no tomatoes in it. So it was super small for bad quality. The fresca were also vastly watered down. Colorado has so many places to get frecas at that when a store waters them down it is super obvious. Then the parking is rough. This business shares a small lot with other businesses including a Trader Joe’s. This means that the lot is packed and you will drive around for a long time. There is also a lack of handicap spots with the closest ones being in front of the Trader Joe’s a few shops over. Just an all around bad experience, with possible health risks, so I would recommend avoiding this place.

Stopped in yesterday for a quick lunch. It is great to have a fast food choice offering a healthier alternative. Staff was so very friendly, and even came out to our table to ask how it as and make sure we were enjoying it.

Looking for fresh, flavorful, delicious food? Come to Zao’s! I stopped in with my nephew. I got the tacos, and he got a burrito. You pick a bowl, burrito, tacos, soup, or salad, then pick your protein. I got the tofu, which was cooked perfectly and had a curry flavor, then you can top it with some yummy Asian inspired veg, sauces and crunch (like peanuts). My nephew got the honey sriracha chicken. Vegetarian options are awesome at this restaurant!

Loved it! We both got noodle bowls, one steak one chicken. The meat was tender and juicy and the noodles were perfect, not over oiled like some places. Definitely try it out. They do have rice and vegan options just a note 🙂

This is a healthy option for lunch or dinner. I had the teriyaki bowl with yakisoba noodles. They also offer many other options like soup, tacos and burritos with an Asian twist. My wife and I have eaten there about 5 or 6 times, and the weak part of their operation used to be their staff. But they have fixed that; they are much better now. You can get a good meal for $15-$17 / per person. It’s like Chipotle only asian.

This was a really fantastic first experience at this restaurant. I had the Bahn Mi Wrap and it was super tasty. The owner stopped by and checked on us, and also let us know that kids eat free on Mondays with a paid adult entree. This was a really good value for our family, and even more if we can remember to come on a Monday. At a time when costs seem high everywhere, this was a great meal at a great value. We will definitely be back! Thanks for a great experience 🙂

My friend told me about this place and I’m so glad I tried it. My food was all so delicious, friendly staff and lightening fast service. I ordered online and picked up within 10 minutes and they were finishing up my order. The food was great quality! Try the pork bowl with sesame goner vinaigrette. My boys had teriyaki bowls and said they were fantastic too. Highly recommend!!
