Food was excellent and so we’re the prices. It’s was pretty empty due to poor weather when we stopped here to eat on the road home.
We ordered chicken & beef drunken noodles, very good portions and freshly prepared. The owners greated us and chatted throughout our meal.
If we’re in the area again, we will definitely stop here.

Edited to add that I appreciated the comment from the business, as I planned to try again, but the credit was never applied.
I’m unsure if it’s the change in name, but I ordered delivery yesterday and it was terrible. I heard amazing things about this restaurant and was truly disappointed. The noodles were cold and lumped together for both dishes and pulling the noodles apart wasn’t easy, as if they were like that for a long time. Neither meal had a lot of flavor and the meats were also old tasting. It’s as if my delivery was of the leftovers from the day. Not what I was expecting. Photos are after I pulled apart the noodles for a little while to try and make them easier to eat.

We had called ahead to see if they had availability. They did. When we arrived they had a highchair ready for our daughter. The food came out fast and delicious. The staff were friendly and kind. One staff member came over and checked that our daughter was having a good experience. They offered us a free little dessert to try. Each experience at Zanyu has been wonderful.

We stopped in for lunch yesterday after a recommendation from the leasing agent at an apartment complex we toured and we are soooooo glad we listened to her recommendation. Zanyu’s location in Lafayette Village alone wowed us, but that was nothing compared to the food and service waiting for us inside! Carlos is an absolute gem and was so friendly and personable it was such a pleasure having him as our server. We got the crispy pork belly to start which was some of the best – if not THE best – crispy pork belly we’ve both ever had, and my partner got the spicy miso ramen and Ingot the pork belly confit ramen. Everything was phenomenal. We’re visiting from out of town, but I can’t wait to go back.

The food/sauce was really good, and the food came out quick. We got spring rolls for appetizers, and they were hot and one of the best I’ve tried. They have both soupy noodles and dry noodles, and the portions are large and filling. The kids menu was a good size and tasty as well. The service was great, and the lady in the front was so kind to us. I would recommend if you’re in lafayette village! The seating is a little cramped on the inside, but they have lots of outdoor seating if it isn’t too cold.

Stopped in with a friend for lunch and was really impressed with how clean everything was. The staff was very friendly and personable, even the chef popped out to say hello to the guests. The food was amazing. I ordered the Thai place and it was spot on, authentic down to every detail, and it was awesome. I definitely recommend stopping in.

Listen, I know this is a noodle restaurant but you HAVE to get the new chicken wings They’re so good. All of the food is flavorful and fresh and authentic. The staff is friendly and you can tell they’re happy to be there. I can’t wait to take the family and enjoy the patio this spring. I believe the restaurant is under new ownership and it looks like they’re very invested in making updates and improvements.

Overall Rating (1-10): 3.8
Despite the inviting exterior, the overall experience inside fell short, with the food and atmosphere not living up to expectations.
Atmosphere Rating (1-10): 3.2
The ambiance was lacking, offering a basic eat-and-go experience with minimal service interaction.
Fried Spring Roll Rating (1-10): 8.3
These were delightfully crunchy without the typical overpowering taste of old cabbage.
Pork Belly Bun Rating (1-10): 5.1
Average in taste, neither particularly bad nor impressive.
Shrimp Tempura Rating (1-10): 5.1
Standard fare that could easily be mistaken for something bought from a supermarket’s frozen aisle.
Ramen Variety Rating (1-10): 3.1
The Pork Belly Ramen, Tonkotsu, and Spicy Ramen all disappointed, particularly the Pork Belly Ramen, which was akin to salty water and visually unappealing.
Value Rating (1-10): 3.0
For a total of $75 before the tip for a meal that left two out of three people still hungry, the experience did not match the cost, making the additional tip feel burdensome.

Ordered delivery from Zanyu, otherwise would have requested a refund. The pad see ew (pictured) bore no resemblance to any pad see ew I’ve ever tasted. Very thin noodles and the sauce was not brown. Not entirely sure what it tasted like but it did not taste like pad see ew – very disappointing as I’d been hoping to find a really good pad see ew in the area. The spring rolls were decent, though they contained no cucumber and the peanut sauce was actually sweet chili sauce with a side of chopped peanuts. The fried spring rolls were decent. The shrimp tempura was not enjoyed by my shrimp-loving kids. Would not order from here again.

I’ve tried a handful of pho dishes in the Raleigh area and this has to be the best so far. The broth was super flavorful and the rice noodles were cooked to perfection
