Absolutely fantastic experience at Zanotta’s.
I started with the black cherry chocolate Old Fashioned, and wow — incredibly smooth and well balanced. Easily one of the better cocktails I’ve had in a long time.
For my first course, I had the spicy Italian potato soup, and it was perfectly spiced — flavorful without overpowering, exactly how it should be.
My second course was the chicken Alfredo. The noodles were cooked perfectly and seasoned just right. I added a small dash of pepper for my personal taste, but honestly it was excellent as-is.
Dessert was the tiramisu, and it was the classic Italian dessert done right — light, rich, and a perfect way to end the meal.
Great food from start to finish. I’ll definitely be back.

Loved this charming gem in Old Town Madison! My husband, daughter, and I all loved the dishes we ordered on our first (but definitely not last) visit. The service, atmosphere, and food were all very high quality. We enjoyed the meatball appetizer, House salad(my personal favorite dish) Italian Beef Sandwich and the daily special Spaghetti Bolognese, and Alfredo pasta with grilled chicken. The portions are the perfect size and the prices are fair. The ambiance really sets the tone for the whole experience and we look forward to returning and trying more menu items.

A fantastic new addition to Old Town Madison, set in a charming 1800s building that adds so much character to the experience! I started with the Margherita Italiana cocktail—refreshing and delicious. For appetizers, we shared the meatball with marinara and the maza crostini. The marinara sauce was especially incredible. For my entrée, I ordered the chicken pasta piccata on angel hair, and it did not disappoint! Others in my group enjoyed their dishes as well—one had the Caesar salad with chicken, another the chicken Alfredo—and both said they loved their meals and will definitely be back.

We went for brunch. Cute little restaurant with good service. Food was decently priced for what you get. Stands out from all the other breakfast places in the area in its selection. Would definitely recommend.

Maybe we were the one off night, but I was not impressed. All our dished were on the dry side and the veal was very tough. It’s as if they were left under a heat lamp way too long. The house marinara meatball appetizer was pretty good but The rest of the dishes were less than satisfactory. The wait staff also needs to learn the menu. Basic things like the veggie the day was not known. would I go back? No

I wanted to love this new restaurant in old town Madison. Went to lunch with a friend on a weekday. Maybe two other tables were occupied. The service was slow and inattentive. I asked repeatedly for more water. It would have helped if the water glass was more than a four-ouncer. The frittata was an omelet. It was good. No complaints. The coffee? It was like tea! I am known to drink any coffee of any quality, but the black coffee was really not drinkable. That is black coffee in the pic. I drank it; I wanted something hot on a cold day. The atmosphere and setting is totally delightful.

The family and I tried Zanottas for the first time. The Italian Margherita Iordered was delicious. We ordered the fried calamari and gluten free flatbed for appetizers. The calamari rings were thick and deep fried in a heavy breading. I tend to like the usual light breading with lemon, so I was a bit disappointed, but it was okay. The gluten free flatbeef was tasty and cooked perfectly. We ordered the chicken Alfredo, which was very good. I ordered the chicken parmesean and it was wonderful. Chicken was tender, the sauce was delicious and the cheese fresh. We appreciated the red pepper and parmesean cheese on the table. Mom ordered the zoodles with marinara. Another hit becauae she is gluten free, but she thought the sauce was a little sweet. I thought it was perfect. All in all, I’m glad they are here and look forward to more meals at Zanottas.

First time dining at Zanottas. Absolutely impressed with the quality and price. Service is good and I believe it will improve with experience but this restaurant is on the right track. Had the Parmesan both viel and chicken and both were on point. Finished with a chocolate cherry rye old fashioned and the cocktail alone was incredible. You will be happy to have dined here but please cut them some slack. They are still relatively new and figuring out the Service . A little patience and understanding goes a long way. I predict great things to come from this restaurant and look forward to adding a star soon. Thanks again to the kitchen and service for a wonderful evening. I appreciate all of you.

It’s small, busy, and charming. I saw multiple reviews praising the chicken picatta and they are absolutely correct. I ordered the pasta picatta with chicken and it was amazing.

Had brunch at Zanotta’s and… holy hell, it blew me away. The food is so fresh and flavorful that you leave feeling full but light (a rare combo). I ordered a mix of plates to share and every single one was delicious. The vibe is just as good as the food — warm, welcoming, and a great spot whether you’re with friends or on a date.
Special shoutout to our server, Timmy — super friendly, attentive without hovering, and made the whole experience even better. We literally booked a dinner reservation on our way out because we couldn’t wait to come back.
Highly recommend — easily one of the best brunch spots in Huntsville.
