Best Fish n Chips, not just in the region but anywhere Ive ever eaten.
The Tempura tastes how it looks – light and fluffy.
Great value packs available. We paid $40 for pack 4, which consists of a generous serve of fish, prawns, calamari, seafood sticks and chips and it was more than enough for 2 people.
Only sad part was, dining in was not an option on this day. Otherwise, it wouldve been a perfect eating experience.
Highly recommend eating here while in Esperance.

This place always gives me 5 stars service with quality food. Their fish and chips are so nice and selling with very reasonable prices. I recommend whoever visit to Esperance for give it a try.

We are visiting Esperance while travelling. Was in the mood for Fish & Chips. Didnt disappoint was Amazing! The Fish & Chips were the best we’ve had in a long time. We had Red Emperor, Chips & potato scallops. Batter was golden and crisp, chips & potato scallops were cooked to perfection.
Staff friendly & hard working. Happy atmosphere.
Very busy, Lots customers & locals get there food there. Definately will go back for more before we leave.

Inside is nice but unfortunatly you aren’t allowed to eat there. No problem.
Everyone has different preferences but the best fish and chips I’ve ever had was from a store in Mackay QLD. I’ve tried many fish and chip shops in Brisbane and they’re all OK. This one is as good and the one from Mackay. Good value for money. We got the 2 person meal. Fish tasted fresh and the prawns, calamari, and crab sticks were soft and tender. The batter is what does it for me. Had a very nice crunch. Would recommend.

Staying in Esperance and looking for an easy dinner? This is it! Fish and Chips – 10/10. Good pack size and prices. Calamari is delish, Fish was thick and well cooked! We also grabbed 2 Pizzas for $27 (Special) – and they were fantastic!!! Great range of topping options! You can dine in or take out!

We are spending the night in Esperance on our way home from SA. After reading reviews on Trip Advisor, we decided to get dinner from Nannygai. They aren’t doing dine-in at the moment but we were happy to get takeaway. I chose the special of battered Red Emperor, salad and chips and my husband had the Meat Lovers pizza.
We were not disappointed! The batter on the two (!) fillets of fish was thin, light and crispy. The salad was a beautiful mix of lettuce, cherry tomatoes, cucumber, carrot and red onion with a house made dressing. The chips were super yummy too.
The pizza was really yummy too – they make their bases in store and it was super fluffy and tasted delish. All the toppings were flavourful too.
The service was very friendly and helpful. Our dinner was ready in about 15-20minutes.
I am more than happy to recommend Nannygai to anyone after a beautiful fresh takeaway meal!

The fish and chips was absolutely amazing. Crispy but not greasy at all, so the food stayed crisp and delicious.
If we’d stayed in Esperance longer, we would have been back to try the pizzas!

My partner and I were on the hunt for the best fish and chips during our visit to Esperance and this place absolutely delivered. The batter was incredibly light and crisp that we couldn’t resist coming back the next arvo for round two. A special thank you to the staff for the welcoming atmosphere and for treating us so well :))

Nannygai on the Hill was a fantastic find! The food was outstanding—fresh, flavorful prawns, fish & chips and perfectly cooked seafood pasta stole the show. The staff were warm and attentive, making us feel right at home. Great vibe, amazing service, and delicious dishes. Highly recommend!
