Wish there would have been an option not to even give a single star. Went there based on YouTube videos. I went for Halwa puri weekend breakfast. Took breakfast home and there was hardly two bites of beans in one of the bowl. The other bowls were not sufficient enough to eat with two puris per meal. They just fry bread and name it puri. The potatoes were having more salt. Poor customer service and demeanor. Stay away and eat some where else. This place will be closed soon the way they are doing business.

Small hole in the wall, amazing food, amazing portions, amazing prices. Hands down one of the best Indian/Pakistani foods I’ve had in a long time. Highly recommend the biryanis and their mango lassi.

Still the best biryani and the portion is enough for 2. But you need to get something else to balance it out as eating just biryani is quite fatiguing.

Great food! We ordered seekh kabobs, garlic naan, and Karachi style chicken biryani. The kabobs and naan were the best I have ever had. Very tender, flavorful kabobs. The naan was incredibly fresh with an amazing garlic flavor on it. The naan was very soft and hot. The biryani was ok. Needs to be improved. Al Watan has better biryani but Zam Zam has better kabobs by far. They gave us our food with ritha which also needs to be improved. Other than that, you gotta try it! Will recommend to friends and family and will be back for more.

Went to get take out. The restaurant is very clean with a small grocery section which was also very tidy. However, the space is a bit limited for large groups for dinning. We tried their Chicken malai tikka boti, Lamb korma and Mango Lassi. Loved each of the item. Food was delicious and full of flavor with perfect level of spices. Service was good too. Would love to go back and try their other items on the menu.

This place used to be really good with the old owners. The service was bad but at least you got good food. I tried this place when they swapped owners and the food smelled and tasted off. I feel like they were trying to sell old rice. I asked about the change in prices and the owner got offended. He started arguing with me over inflation and whatever. I just don’t feel like their food is worth $15-$16 anymore. India Tandoori Halal is way better for the same price

If you want an absolutely NO frills but 100% authentic meal, this is it. Ordered the Lamb Korma, Lamb Biryani, and garlic naan. It seems mostly designed for take out and half the space is a market but we sat down at one of the 4 tables. The food was excellent we will definitely be back

Small halal Pakistani spot in Hawthorne. Came here with a friend for dinner around 6:30 on a Thursday. Most of the people who came for takeout, but they do have a couple of tables for indoor dining. It’s also a marketplace, though food seemed to be the main focus. We split a couple of dishes, including the biryani (note that the lamb is only available on the weekends), chicken tikka, garlic naan, and the combo kebabs (beef and chicken). The food portions were smaller than I was expecting but Sri reasonably priced. Note that the lamb biryani is only served on weekends. There’s a small parking lot but when I went, there weren’t any spots available so I parked in the residential neighborhood behind the restaurant.
