Been going here since I was in highschool/college. I used to enjoy their fried chicken wraps as it was affordable and the wraps were delicious. But lately going to zaks i feel like their employees are racist towards south asians. My little brother placed an order for takeout and i ordered 4 orders of 8 chicken wraps in total. The wraps are cheaply made and almost a scam of my money. Nothing is in the wraps anymore. Highly disappointed. I asked for ranch on the side they told my brother they dont do that anymore?? I paid 30$ for these wraps thats the LEAST you can do considering my chicken was DRY and had NO ranch on it. I also had to add my cucumbers, ranch and lettuce because they couldn’t even add that. they are rude, cheap and have no sense of customer service.
In fact once we ordered the largest gyro pizza and never again because the gyro was just the machine cut frozen strips you can get from Makkah mart or Madinah mart. If you want real gyros go to Italian Express.

Okay, this is what I am talking about. A little pizza joint that you can pop into and just enjoy a nice lunch. The pizza dough is wildly good, crispy and perfect. Folks working here are nice as can be and the prices are perfect. Not only that but the whole place is Halal for our friends who need that. Cannot recommend enough, support local pizza, and love yourself; try this place.

First let me say my son recommended this place to my wife and I. We drove past this place for years. I must say the wings was amazing. I would definitely put their wings in the conversation with with Harolds Chicken and Uncle Remus. Zak and his mom are great people and has awesome customer service. It was a late night food run and they were closing zak allowed my wife and I to dine in as our food came out fresh. We would definitely be back. Keep up the great work!

Overall taste and portion is good. Beef ribs are overly sauced as if they are trying to hide the freshness of the meat. There should also a piece of bread included with the order minimum, standard practice across the QQB joints. Customer should also have a choice of type of BBQ sauce they would like to have. I am not 100% sure I would go back to this place.

The food is great and the quantity is amazing!! The staff is very very helpful and friendly. Loved the parmesan chicken dinner and honey bbq wings. The Big Zak burger was also very good. I think the food is value for money.

We did not know Zak’s was Halal. The idea of Italian cuisine being Halal is something I am is still trying to get my head around. But that is my observation, and I am trained as an anthropologist. First, traditional Italian pasta dishes on a Friday evening with red sauce – wow! The sausage was exceptional and while the pasta was perfectly cooked the sauce was good but not anything special. It lacked unique Italian, old-school seasoning. I enjoyed it for its simplicity and will order it again, soon, and enjoy it just as much. I am really looking forward to trying other items on their extensive menu and what I suspect is we will enjoy all of them. What I absolutely loved about Zak’s Pizza, Pasta and Wings is that it is Halal and we did not know that until walking in. As a 62 year old Irish American kid who loves Italian and French cuisine (especially Vietnamese French), the food is solid, the pricing was appreciated and I am thrilled your Pizza, Pasta and Wings are another option in Lombard for us to enjoy.
