I had a very bad experience at Zaika Restaurant. The samosa had almost no filling and was extremely oily. On top of that, the prices are way too expensive compared to other restaurants that offer much better quality. The spring rolls were also ridiculously overpriced, and it was obvious they weren’t even freshly made they tasted like frozen ones from Costco, just fried and served. Definitely not worth the money. I will never go there again.

We had great time experiencing Indian food! It was our first time at Zaika Indian Bistro and Bar. Our Served Palak was welcoming and provided recommendations.
We ordered a variety of dishes, including the Goat Curry, Chicken Curry, Veg Hakka Noodles, Fish Pakoda, Biryanis, Garlic Naan, and Prawns Tandoori. The food was mouth watering, lots of flavor with some spice.

We went to zaika a few months ago, the food was delicious back then. We went again last night and food was not good at all. We ordered noodles and it was full of ketchup, and they remade and were sweet ( as if someone has put sugar in it). Also ordered malai kofta which had only 3 koftas and full of oil. They changed chef and this new chef doesn’t seem to have an idea how to cook. We will never be going there ever again. Such a waste of money going there .. they should taste the food before they serve it, to have an idea what they r serving people

Today I ordered chicken biryani and butter chicken from DoorDash. I have never tasted such bad food in my life. I am your regular customer, but today the butter chicken was terrible. It felt like there was no gravy at all just onion sauce and tomato sauce mixed together. Worst food ever. I will never order again.

Aman was amazing! The food was absolutely delicious. The ambiance welcoming and as soon as we walked in the smells enticed us to order far more than our stomachs could handle so we do have a take home box. We will be back after our 2026 trip to India! The Lamb Curry was bomb, but the spinach tandoori was even better. If you are staying in Manteca by the Bass Pro Shop, please walk over and try this place. Service was speedy and the food was very good.
