I had the opportunity to sample this authentic taqueria on-campus at Stanford. Their interior design is modest and fresh to highlight their cuisine. The set-up was well aligned for their service model. I love the orientation to the storefront glass for the charm of their patio bistro seating as well as daylight illumination (typical indoor/outdoor aesthetic akin to Sunset magazine or Eichler homes — local architecture references). I had to wait a moment to order as the single employee walked away to take a cart to the commissary; she was friendly and verified my salad toppings as she fulfilled my order. The same employee cashed my order, whereby I used my Google Pay. I had ordered a salad with Carnitas and Agua Fresca (Jaimaca, sugar-free). The carnitas were moist and savory; each ingredient to the salad was organic and complimented each other (salsa, beans, etc). I picked the Agua Fresca for its color and its tartness (like blueberries) was refreshingly invigorating. Next time, I want to order the Memela.

Every time we come back in town, we come here. The freshest Mexican food that you can get and great vegetarian options! And real mole and horchata!!! I’m an avid reviewer of places all around the world and I love this spot!

Tried this place at the farmers market today and wasn’t impressed. I ordered 2 single tacos and it was advertised $6 per taco. Upon getting home I checked my receipt and was charged $19, looks like I was charged for their taco plate instead because that seems a bit high for 2 basic tacos. But 2 stars since the spicy salsa was good and workers were friendly.

We enjoyed a hot bowl of vegan posole and a veggie grain bowl today— the soup was complex and loaded with veggies, the grain bowl was a wonderful combination of ingredients. A great healthy and tasty addition to campus!

My order was not made correctly. No receipt to check the order. Cashier wasn’t understanding the issue. 2 burritos at $45 and the order wasn’t right. Not worth it. It was a struggle to get sour cream on the side when that’s what I wanted and my burrito ended up being cold having to explain to them that I order sour cream.

I feel bad giving this review but want to share my experience from the Palo Alto farmer’s market. The mole was just ok, and the to-go container wasn’t closed well (a piece of chicken got caught between the lid and container) so it leaked over my stuff. The empanadas are also just ok – they also gave us the wrong protein on accident.

I always visit Zaida’s food truck at the Palo Alto farmers market every time I am in the bay area because it is just that good. Her tostadas with slow braised pork is to DIE for. I’ve been to Oaxaca several times and haven’t found real authentic Oaxacan food outside of Oaxaca that is as good as hers. Thank you, Zaida!!

We really enjoyed our meal at Zaidas Kitchen, both the pork burrito and pork bowl were tasty and delicious. I love they use healthy ingredients: gluten free, olive oil instead of seed oils and non GMO’s. Totally recommend!!!

Was exicited to see a new food choice at Stanford Tressider. But this was highly disappointing. I got a chicken bowl to go. I should’ve just went to Chipotle. The price is way overpriced for the amount of food they give you and then on top of that asking for tip. I paid around $16 for a small sized chicken bowl, with rice that didn’t seem to be cooked all the way (how do you not know how to cook rice?), black beans, lettuce and cabbage. The food taste isn’t really electrifying for me to even justify the amount I paid. This is a skip!

Very small food portion. And flour tortillas were hard when I ate it after like 10 mins. I don’t think they were properly heated up.
