Me and my parents had dinner here earlier this evening after we saw Hoppers. We were seated right away and the waitress came over and took our drink orders and we ordered a Cesar Salad to share. The salad was great. Then we ordered our dinner. My parents ordered a pizza to share with chicken, onions, and mushrooms on one side. I ordered the Ravioli pasta. Our Salad came out quickly. Then about 10-15 minutes later the pizza arrived and my pasta didn’t arrive yet. Usually pasta doesn’t take long to make. We asked our waitress and a manager about my pasta. They said it was coming out shortly. Then my parents discovered that their pizza had the wrong toppings on it. As my pasta was about to come out, my parents asked to get my pasta to go. I got my pasta to go and my mom made a reservation at another restaurant. I’m not coming here anymore. There’s better restaurants nearby the theater. Plus the restaurant was busy but not too crazy for a Friday night. I also saw Greg Marcus walk into the kitchen too.

I would give this place a 5 for its wonderful staff and friendly atmosphere, which truly enhanced the overall experience. However, when it comes to the food and pricing, I would rate it closer to a 3.
The food is fairly expensive for a movie theater, yet it is not particularly special or elevated. It does not feel like premium or chef-prepared cuisine, as much of it appears to be processed and simply reheated rather than freshly made.
Overall, the service and environment are excellent, but the food quality and value could be improved.

First, let me say our waitress Melanie was fantastic. She was attentive, engaging, and happy (which can be a difficult find in the service industry now). However, my salad had a little too much dressing, and my friend’s pizza had toppings that could have been a little more evenly distributed. My husband ordered the crispy chicken ranch sandwich, and he did say it was served hot and very good. We decided to eat here before a 6:15 movie, and there was plenty of seating available. This restaurant is a nice space with pretty bar, and it is nice to have the option of taking a cocktail with you into your movie.

I placed my order hours in advance to pick up and take into the movie theater with me. When I arrived at the scheduled time, my order had not even been made, but it was obvious they were working on current orders that had been placed long after mine. As a result, I was late getting into the movie. The top things off my pizza tasted burnt. This was the first and last time I will try this restaurant. A frozen pizza would have tasted better and been more satisfying.

Slow slow slow service. Arrived with 50 minutes before our movie. Got seated, and a few minutes later another couple were seated behind us. A server took their order first, and asked what time their movie started and offered to box up their food for the show. He never came to our table. It was 15 minutes before a DIFFERENT server came to ours (we were the only other couple in that section). He never asked if we were there to see a movie, we hurriedly ordered our drinks and food, got out drinks minutes later, but no food with 15 minutes to go before showtime. So we asked the host who seated us if we could get our food in boxes since our movie was about to start, and thankfully she was able to do so and it came out with 5 minutes to spare. But then I had to pay the check the old fashioned way? Took our slow server too long to come back with my card.
Thankfully we arrived in the theater just in time for previews.
Oh, and my soda was flat and flavorless. The same soda from the theater tasted better.
Will not be returning for food, unless we have HOURS before a movie, apparently.

We made reservations and sat at our table at our reservation time. 15 minutes passed and we were not even greeted by wait staff. We ended up leaving. Prices were ridiculous as well for a restaurant attached to a theatre. Too bad because we had to grab food elsewhere to come back to see our movie on time. There were 3 people at the hostess station standing around and 2 waitstaff for a busy dining room. Poor management.

These weirdos refused to serve drinks to my 62 year old dad while he was on a date because he did not show his ID. Visibly 62 years old, so ridiculous. He had his ID but it was the silly point. She stated that Marcus be having old guy spies full gray checking to see if they ask for ID, and the manager who was probably another kid stated that they card up to 70 years old. Looking at all the past 6 month reviews I am very much aware this may be a managment problem and should be looked into further. When an establishment gets continued bad reviews it is definately a manger who doesn’t care what’s happening and needs a refresher on management. I am going to call corporate to lake sure they understand they have an ongoing issue at this location. Good luck.

Pizzas went downhill. I remeber coming every week to order pizzas last year because I felt like the quality of pizza was has improved. Maybe the cook who works there is no longer there. I would be ashame if they had let him go.

Pizza is pretty good. It’s thin and almost cracker like which I found to be pretty interesting. We did have a Cesar Salad which was good and really large and both my husband and I were able to eat from it. The hot honey hot wings were a 10 and absolutely delicious. On game days they have a $5 off any large pizza special. This particular Zaffrino’s is connected to North Shore Theater so is a great place to stop in to eat before going to watch a movie. Parking is in front and on the side. To go orders seem common as they have spaces outside for pickup and the atmosphere seems good. Our waitress was very attentive but I did notice that they have a very large sign asking for applicants and it definitely seems like a good place to work. One other thing I would like to add is that it is not loud in here. You can eat and have a conversation. Great place would definitely visit again if I was in the area.
